  1. I'd take 4 too but would prefer them the other way round
  2. Szmodics has had a ridiculous season out of nowhere at that level.
  3. I think the championship was quite a level playing field last season though and a Norwich squad that had previously gotten automatic promotion twice would have been expected to again.
  4. I don't think he was a massive failure at Norwich but he wasn't a success either. Also the championship seemed quite weak last season with the likes of Sheff Utd and Luton going up.
  5. I don't disagree on the first part but neither of those should be England manager either. Leicester were by no means relegated though. They were 2 points adrift with 8 matches left when Smith went in.
  6. As much as I appreciate what he did for Villa I'd be lying if I said he deserved a crack at the England job. Villa is the only real success on his CV, which is understandably all we care about but Leicester and Norwich especially showed his limitations.
  7. Did we not do it for the final game last season and Ramsey questioned why when it was only for the conference league
  8. Wordle 1,037 X/6 First fail since I started playing a few months ago

They probably will but I still think the whole project was unnecessary and has set them back several years. They had a team that won things and disassembled it for basically no reason to replace it with a ridiculously expensive one that doesn't win (yet).
  10. Scored the goals that kept us up and always worked hard so a bit of a cult hero as far as I'm concerned.
  11. First season he was (aside from the goals) but in that second season he played well from what I remember. Was part of some great team performances like the 7-2 v Liverpool.
  12. Literally admits the stats show Watkins is the better choice and then picks Toney because reasons They keep asking these sort of ex players though like Murray and Deeney who are always bound to go for the 'target man'
  13. QPR beat Preston. 1 less team in the relegation battle.

    Trophyless again. Well done Todd
  15. Probably couldn't fit him on any of the 3 team buses today
  16. I think it's City's system stifling individuality, he looked good for Argentina at the WC. Also winning everything by the age of 23 probably inevitably leads to a little drop off.
  17. Pochettino is allergic to trophies
  18. Even if there was a decimal point they'd have been ripped off
  19. Such a poor defender. Doesn't even make up for it going forwards either.
  20. Jackson has a lot of good qualities but is missing that final all important bit right now. I remember Solanke used to be similar.
  21. City have looked a bit shit this week. Maybe time to spend another billion.
  22. Absolutely no way they get relegated this season. Impossible..
  23. True, hopefully Huddersfield can regroup for one last push. I did always think it would be Wednesday that had the best chance of staying up but they have stopped winning at the wrong time.
  24. Nicolas Jackson summed up in 5 seconds there
  25. They've rightly earned a lot of plaudits for competing well against the top teams but these sort of games are the ones they need to get up for and they haven't. Losing at home to Sheff Utd was another.
