I might be well off here (we'll need to ask a FM researcher) but I don't think they give set numbers to each player. They give them a CA and PA value, and maybe favoured attributes, then the system averages it out. So to give them 20 Pace, the system would have to give Passing, Technique and Positioning (for example) 1, because it only has so many points to work with. I've seen a few times in older versions of the game where a player has decent stats in the right areas in one save, only to look at him in another save and they're slightly different. As I said, I might be well off with that. It's just my theory (that I possibly stole off someone on the SI forums).

Start Unemployed with Automatic Experience then Holiday until you get offered a job. Always a bit of a lottery. I got Droylsden. Predicted 3rd in the league. Took over in December and they were sat 21st in the BSN with 9 points. Complete revamp of the squad was needed, as well as a lot of private chats to get morale up again. Got em up to 17th with 26 points now. As much as I love LLM, I find it very hard to believe that most of them can't seem to play a simple 5 yard pass to feet. Very frustrating

The table makes fun reading. 3 weeks ago it was doom and gloom, and now, results going our way, with another 3 points we could be 7th. Crazy season so far. Didn't properly watch the game, was a bit busy, but the bits I did see were encouraging. It's like watching a different team at times. Some of the link up play between the front 4 was incredible. Gabby putting through more killer balls. Think he might actually fit out on the wing with a bit more time to adjust to his role. He's showing a fair amount of intelligence with the ball, which I'll admit, I didn't think he had. GH is finally looking like he cares about this club. Celebrating goals, clapping the fans (who were awesome, well done lads) and instructing the players to do the same. It's all looking up for the Villa again. Who ever doubted Houllier, aye?!

Get rid. I don't want any player in a Villa shirt if he doesn't wanna be here. I know it's not entirely his fault as he was basically forced out of a club he seemed to love, but the same could be said for Dunne. I guess Ireland just lacks that professionalism. As MM said earlier in the thread though, don't let NUFC make the rules regarding his loan. They'll pay what we demand for his services. Though I want him gone, I also have no problem letting him rot on the reserves bench 'til he bucks up his ideas.

The guy has been gone for ages and even knowing more facts isn't going to help us at present so I fail to see why MON is brought up in every thread. /le sigh He's like that ex you just can't get out your head. Nice hint. First transfer window, scouted South America and found the absolute gems of Paolo Henrique and Jefferson Farfan. About 10mil for both if I remember, quite low wages. Incredible players. My only two signings so far, but they were all I needed. Henrique (AMC, playmaker role, will be your new Ashley Young) Farfan (currently have him as right winger, great little player, especially if he cuts inside as he's a natural AMC) Note: For some reason, Farfan is listed on wikipedia as being a Schalke player since 2008, but I definitely got him from South America :S

He'll be fine here. We have a top class medical team. We got a few more seasons out of Laursen, we can do it for Houllier Very good shout. Thought he was retired though. Hasn't managed since 2007.
