    Barkley didn't deserve to come on. Smith said that Trez deserved a start after his goals against Fulham yet Davis who also changed the game doesn't get any reward for his efforts? Very strange from Smith especially as we needed someone with some physical strength willing to carry the ball forward more than two yards! Something our pathetic midfield struggled to do!

    Definitely struggled today but then he rarely saw the ball first half. Team passing was atrocious. We fully deserved to lose despite some improvement in second half.

    I dont know about that, it genuinely seems like Dean and the medical staff can't put an exact date on recovery as its down to how Jack feels and responds to training.

    Safe to assume then he's out for the rest of the month now. Still plenty of games in May to get himself in contention for the Euros. Really want to see him play this summer!

    Brilliant response from the mistake. Not sure why he felt the need to pass back to Emi given that he had a load of space on his left to touch the ball into and then clear it down the wing. Of course the passage of play leading up to that incident invited the pressure on the first place. Our passing in generally was sluggish and negative until we got our act together with the subs.

    Yes I think his chin dropped a bit out of frustration with the way we were playing. He wants the ball and he wants the pass and move but our movement and passing was awful up until the subs.

    That's what a few of us on here have advocated in recent months about Davis being able to play behind Ollie instead of writing him off. He has the physicality and hold up play to enable Ollie to stay in the box more. I hope hes given more chances for the rest of the season because a couple of other regulars don't deserve to be playing.

    Excellent game today and probably the only one who was trying to create. He is a bit lightweight and gets knocked off the ball a fair bit but shows his importance to us especially with Jack missing.

    Haaland is a brute of a player with great movement and anticipation in the box. He also bursts from midfield and runs at defenders. Would love to I see him in the Premier League.

    Stinks of bullpoo tbh. How many games has Sonson started... um... 1? I think a fair early evaluation can be made at the end of the season. He already works harder than Hourihane so not looking like a downgrade even now.

    We just aren't setup to play through balls for Ollie to latch onto. It's either out wide or those horrid easy to defend floaty balls! I absolutely detest our passing style at the moment. Most passes are really lazy with no pace on them. Urgh.

    Everyone's first touch tonight was poor. It was like pin ball. No composure, no idea what to do with the ball for the most part. Ollie is never going to thrive when he's all over the shop. Awful possession and hit and hope passing from midfield is killing us. Thank goodness for the international break!

    I think a run in the team would benefit him and he looked very bright when he came on. No one else is stepping up so give him a go up with Ollie as a hold up player/provider. He can't do any worse than this current shite!
