  1. Watch the second goal again. Chambers is clearly at fault. He’s so slow to get back that he relies on Ashley Young to cover for him. Got roasted for the first goal too.
  2. How can anyone pick out Mings after witnessing that abomination of a performance from Chambers tonight?
  3. Pretty disappointed in Emery tonight to be honest. We could easily have won that game. Too many changes. Olsen, Chambers and McGinn complete liabilities and all finished the game. Would move these three on sooner than later. I said the same after Chelsea last year but I don’t know why we are always so indifferent about going out of the cups. If we can pull away from relegation, we will have plenty of relatively meaningless games for the rest of the season to rotate players. If we’d won tonight, City and Liverpool were the only two big teams left. Big opportunity gone yet again.
  4. He could see what he had to work with without sacrificing a cup.
  5. Strongly disagree with this. Kamara is much much much better. Even when he came on today after injury, he oozes class in my opinion. I think Dendoncker is doing well but he can be slow and sluggish, and he tired badly today. Luiz and Kamara should be the first two names on the team sheet for me.
  6. I think it’s the love of the underdog. The dream of redemption. Plus the fact that we spent a lot of money on him and most fans want to see him play before he leaves.
  7. Luiz is such a good player. Him and Kamara could be magic together.
  8. It’s so refreshing to see a new manager come in and say he believes in the players already here, that they’ve been underperforming and he’s enthusiastic to work with them. So often, we’ve seen managers come in and say they immediately need reinforcements or to bring in their own type of players, etc. I think it’s a positive insight into Emery’s mindset. I haven’t heard him mention transfers or new players yet.
  9. Indescribably bad. Sell sell sell. We might find a fool willing to buy him.
  10. My biggest concern is his English. It was excruciating to watch him trying to defend himself in broken English towards the end at Arsenal when he was under pressure. My uneducated guess at the time was he struggled at Arsenal due to the language barrier. I can’t imagine his English has improved much since leaving.
  11. Let’s sell him to the Vegas Villains for £100,000,000. FPP money laundering!
  12. I think it’s unfair to give this guy too much stick. We don’t really know what goes on behind the scenes and on the training pitch. We’ve had a hugely bloated coaching staff over two regimes now. Do we really know who does what on the training field? We don’t know how big or small a role he had. Maybe his ideas have been ignored. Danks may well be a fine coach but the team performance and the whole setup has been a mess, and the responsibility for that lies with Gerrard. I hope Danks gets good support at the weekend. He needs it.
  13. He looks slow and turns like a bus. I’d have kept Hause to be honest. He always did ok when called upon.
  14. Porch 4/7 on paddy power. He’s been around that for the past 2-3 days. Emery next at 5/1.
  15. The guy on Amazon was doing his bit for #gerrardout in fairness to him.
  16. I wouldn’t say many decent men hang out with notorious gangsters.
  17. Anyone living near Villa Park, please get out with some signage. Gerrard is a virus in our club. We need him out.
  18. It’s too late. If he’d been sacked after the Palace game, we’d have been a good job for someone. What good manager is going to want to take over this shambles.
  19. Betting is suspended again on paddy power.
  20. That might be a fair assessment if Chelsea was his first game in charge. He’s been in charge for 12 months you know?
