There’s a video doing the rounds on Twitter recorded pitch side by a fan of him in pain just after his injury. I’ve been watching football 30 years and I’m genuinely shocked and heartbroken by how badly he was suffering. I’ve seen very few reactions that bad, normally the worst injuries.

Well for a start I think Diego Carlos looked a bit better than Torres so maybe he will have to partner Konsa. Cash needs upgrading, should have been done already and now is essential. The main task will be picking morale up off the floor.

That’s the problem isn’t it. It’s like we almost have to go back to basics. Mings is absolutely essential to how we’ve been playing and he’s out just like that. I don’t think I’m being reactionary but the last few days have been an absolute disaster. I doubt even Emery has experienced anything like it.

Bed wetting? This week we’ve lost two of our main players to potentially season ending injuries and got tanked 5-1 by a team we’re supposed to be competing with and looked absolutely shocking defensively. I think people have every right to be panicking. I could just about get over the result but those injuries and the key players who have suffered the will have a huge impact on our season.

I thought we were defensively crap in pre season but put it down to experiments and mixed youth and first team line ups.

Some FPL account has tweeted that Watkins is out. From peoples reactions to him, he must have got some stuff right previously. Let’s hope it’s not right this time or I’m just giving up and not watching (obviously will).

You deal with it. You don’t ask the victim whether he gets to keep his job which your mate seemed to be suggesting unless I misunderstood. I think we actually agree for the most part. I just think your friends response was unusual that she couldn’t pass opinion as she had never been in that situation and the victim would be best to give an opinion which is a load of rubbish because domestic abuse victims will often side with their abuser.

What are they actually asking the women though? The club either believe he has done the things he was accused of in which case surely it’s an easy sacking or they don’t in which case they keep him employed and don’t ask other employees to decide his fate. The club have had the opportunity to do something good but are clearly going to hope that their women employees bail them out and support their decision to keep i him. Cowards.

I think that’s an unusual response. All the women I have spoken with about it think he should be kicked out.
