That’s not a bad thing. Dangerous to get over confident especially before a trip to Newcastle.
Torres and Bailey are the big concerns. I don’t want to see either of them starting next week. I’m not writing Torres off, we’re playing him out of position but I’m fed up of Bailey.
I think Lazio barely turned up for some reason. Maybe they underestimated us given that they are the Champions League club and we are Conference. I think Valencia may actually be a tougher test.
Doesn’t that basically say that there can also be a buy back cancellation clause. But that only gets added if the original selling club is willing to add it (which I presume we wouldn’t be)?
Please google buy back clauses. It’s a contractual agreement that means that if we trigger the clause and pay the pre agreed amount, they legally have to transfer him back to us.
Possibly but I think it’s more likely we have one or two targets that are playing waiting games re other clubs. I’d be surprised if we didn’t get another forward and full back but hopefully we should be ok.
Really doubt this is likely. Moreno is out for a while. Torres was ok but not great at left back. No links to left backs that I’m aware of to replace him. Just can’t see it happening. Which I’m pleased about because I rate him.
I agree with this and would go further by saying you can’t tell until the season is well underway.. Those that are often proclaimed to have ‘won’ the transfer window often go on to make little impact. Other teams underwhelming signings go on to be incredible.
We could do a deal similar to what Man City sold Douglas Luiz- £10 mil with buy back clause at, say, £20 mil, should he go on to be a success. Buy back to expire within 3 years.
