  1. I think it's too short notice to plan for the long term but given the possibility he may never come back i think something needs to be planned for the summer, unless either Nyland, Steer or Sarkic turn out to be world beaters! I'm actually pissed off Sarkic might get recalled he's been doing OK by all accounts and a full season playing week in week out would have been fantastic for him.
  2. Yep all our targets have just had 10% added to there value!
  3. I think Wesley's replacement will have been discussed in depth over the last few weeks (months?). Heaton has thrown a spanner in the works big time though I should imagine! Can't call that one but feel they may take stick with Nyland and recall Sarkic, then look at a long term Heaton replacement come the summer.
  4. So you know hes been told to go back to Brazil for his rehab then? He'll be back clocking in at BMH daily soon enough, the Villa drs, physios and s & c staff get paid to do a job and won't want the clubs most expensive player away from there watchful eye for too long (trust me I'm not a doctor )
  5. That'll make his good knee over compensate he needs to be on a crutch!
  6. I'm not criticising him for going to Brazil 2-4 weeks will do him the world of good see the kids etc but he has some hard yards to put in and that bit is best done back in and around his team mates and staff. I know I don't know what the club docs have recommended on that note neither do you.
  7. As I said above my physio started after 3 weeks and I needed surgery. Better to be doing that around the team.
  8. If he needs surgery the yes fly him to the best possible surgeon, 2-3 months no chance! I was having physio 3 weeka after doing mine and that was 15 years ago!
  9. Its a cruciate ligament, he's not paralyzed he can still train!
  10. Maybe an initial couple of weeks back Brazil as In Welseys case you may be right he doesn't seem very mentally robust, however I still believe he needs to going into BMH everyday and training obviously not with but certainly around the squad.
  11. Who gonna buy a crocked 22m quid player?
  12. I'm not making a wierd issue out of anything seems quite natural a player is rehabilitated by the staff of the club that pays his wages to me.
  13. So pay out a 5 year contract and send him on his way?
  14. He's an Aston Villa player, he should be rehabilitated by Aston Villa staff, if its good enough for Jack it's good enough for Wes.
  15. Release him? Why would we do that?
  16. If it bad we could have seen the last of Heaton, which is a real shame as I was hoping he'd be around for a couple more seasons.
  17. I'm not to bothered about this one, to much going on elswhere right now but play Kodjia for 50-60 mins with a view to Davis coming on to get match fit.
  18. Maybe initially for a couple of weeks, at the end of the day he's a 22m asset so should be getting the best posible care in the UK.
  19. Speedy recovery Wes not sure it should be in Brazil needs to be back at BMH as soon as feasible. Lets hope the new striker has some quality and Davis can chip in and help, we still need another option in the squad though.
  20. Batshuayi will head to Crystal Palace with Zaha going the other way most likely. Giroud will be looking for a permanent move most likely that'll rule us out.
  21. Showed little interest or desire yesterday, I seriously would play AEG or Trez ahead of him as a striker if it came to it!
  22. You're talking about Heaton right?
  23. Happy as a pig in shite, late here in Oz so i'm going to bed a very happy Villa fan. So good to have TM back UTV!!!
