I really hope hause replaces Taylor for the final, he's just a better player in all departments, especially going forward. I get the feeling this won't happen though, smith seems to have a thing for him?

Seems we did this again tonight

i think the main issue with our performance was how static we were. We passed left and right and there was no movement at all, numerous times there were 4 players standing near their 18 yeard box in a line, none of them moving or stretching their defence, we were so so static. also when we had the ball out wide, both el ghazi and adomah seemed to want to stop the ball, stand there and think about things, there was no urgency or movement.

If anyone here knows Deano or anyone at the club, please please to god tell them to stop doing those stupid short corners all the time. Every now and again I get it, but it's every single time and completely predictable. With the height we have in the team we need to be getting them in the box and doing the odd clever corner, not all the time so the other team knows we are going to do it. Well done villa on reaching the final, we don't like doing anything the easy way!

didnt play well tonight, too ponderous on the ball tbh. Not helped by all the static players around him though, the teams overall movement was really poor. -
those two penalty saves were immense.

well done to the team for dealing with the pressure of those Pens., OMG STFU Adomah. Steer was fricking immense in those pens, what a hero. If we play remotely like that vs Leeds, we will be screwed. Im glad we got through, Steer was immense, the penalty takers were immense (apart form the idiot Adomah), but we need to be realistic and say Leeds will destroy us if we play like that at Wembley.

to be honest, the way we have played in both legs, and the couple of games prior in the league, i dont really believe we would beat leeds anyway with the way we are playing.

yeah those corners are idiotic, we have kodjia, tammy, mings, tuanzebe all tall guys, jesus put a ball on their head. I would also bring on hause for taylor for more height/strength in there.

we were pretty terrible in that ET half, looks like we have completely run out of ideas and couldnt score even if we had a good chance.
