  1. Epic. Emi only gets booked because of perception and bias.
  2. I wonder if the arden cross could be a potential location for a new stadium, it seems like a perfect spot for wembley stadium.
  3. VP is wonderful it just needs some TLC.
  4. I've become desensitized to injuries now.
  5. A bit further down from the site mentioned above but a canal-side stadium would be cool. Obviously you would need a big bridge to access the areas. Less than a mile to all the major stations in the city centre and is located near to Aston.
  6. And also a key part of how we operate, especially with developing and selling young players. We still have scope to build up the commercial side too.
  7. I will be shocked if they sponsor us on a shirt. I could see them as a partner sponsor like Liverpool and Spurs have. It being our 150th year soon, I am guessing Coca Cola could collaborate with the club due to our coca-cola cup wins in the 90s. Creation of merch and stuff.
  8. Universal is planning a new theme park in Bedford. Comcast seem to be investing a lot in England as a whole.
  9. Surely increasing revenue more quickly with a smaller capacity increase and the creation of the warehouse will help us with FFP in the short term, while (hopefully) a bigger project in the pipeline will chain together the next phase of our growth and progress.
  10. There still has to be a business case developed for the funding of the witton station upgrades. The argument against it - is that the station is dead non-match days. The club is key for a master plan of the area imo, it is a big responsibility but leverage too.
  11. Don't know but that is a fair point. Depends who owns it? I remember Arsenal relocating a rubbish processing plant to a site nearby to build the emirates. Arsenal are very similar to us - as their re-development of Highbury didn't go ahead and they moved to a site close to Highbury. Arsenal had to tackle with transport issues and upgrading stations. Surely you would get more community support for flattening tired industrial buildings, rather than bull dozing rows of houses. I don't think we would need all that land for a stadium too, we may need more land for Atairos/Comcast for their possible ventures within any new or existing site.
  12. It would re-generate the area imo. Citeh own 200 acres
  13. Somewhere in the highlighted area. In between two stations (Aston & Witton). If the club and partners acquired all the land. This site is around 80 acres so you could build a new Men's and Women's stadium plus other assets. Perhaps adding another train stop near the spaghetti junction in the right corner.
  14. It seems like the next phase is beginning to take shape and those people are now dedicating more time and focus to grow villa. This is exciting imo.
  15. I agree. If I was to predict - I think a new, custom built women's stadium will be constructed located next to the brookvale academy facility. I think we re-develop VP rather than new build, it is part of the club's uniqueness. And doesn't Andy Street and the club have to justify the Witton station being re-built too, so a larger re-generation of the area will be key for funding imo. Expansion of BMH too. How much land do we have to build on at BMH? I recently read about Ajax and Atlanta United's new training ground plans - housing facility for young players and media production studios/spaces too.
  16. Why have Atairos joined? Surely NSWE are capable of funding everything you have suggested without the need for further investment or support.
  17. The description on the Atairos site mentions historic Villa Park stadium and BMH training ground. We will probably see expansion and development of both these areas with Atairos. Atairos have partnered with NBC Universal on projects too, so BMH/VP may be a base for them to produce Premier League/Villa content for global audiences. The club also advertising social content executives & leads. This is probably a good way to boost the profile and popularity of the club. Maybe the club will build or buy (Alexander Stadium) a dedicated home for the Women's team. It is all very exciting to see the next chapter in this grand old story.
  18. Have the Premier League confirmed the deal? The atairos deal was a similar stake to Ratcliffe at Utd. Just a bit strange.
  19. They didn't have an article but they had it in the news and press release section which has now disappeared.
  20. The communication is terrible at the moment. What is happening with Atairos ? Have the club/Premier League confirmed the investment? The Atairos website has removed the article that they are involved with V Sports/Aston Villa.
  21. I see that too. I would rather they were in Wolves' position and our rivalry competing with the Manchester/London clubs.
