The Match Thread tends to tell you a fair bit about our fanbase. Football has changed over the years but attitudes haven't. There really isn't a game we 'should' be winning anymore. The quality of coaching and the money in this league makes it the most competitive in world football, but many here and on social media still see us as some dominant force of the early 80's. You watch Pep Guardiola during the course of any game home or away against any opposition. He's a nervous wreck! He knows how dangerous every team is at any time over the course of a season, and takes nothing for granted.
