Just bought Upper Trinity tickets for me and my 18 yo daughter for the Man City game, not even in the expensive seats. £95 was the cost. If it wasn't the last one before she goes to uni I would have cancelled in protest at Villa ripping off the fans. Absolute extortion. Last one I can afford for a while.

We tend to do well against Everton so despite our shambles today I am hoping for a response. Mings back in with Carlos would help defending corners/free kicks and start Buendia for better creative play. I'd be tempted to start Archer but creating chances was our problem today, not finishing them so I can't blame ings or watkins really.

Well it's only one game into the season and already my hopes of top 6 and a good cup run are in tatters and now we will be battling relegation. Complete nonsense of course but that's how it feels

Emi kept us in with some great saves but we were so shit in midfield in the first half. Second half we were the better team after the subs and should have won it at the end, so 1-1 fair result imho -

Searched forums but can't find an answer and spent 40 mins on hold to Villa Park only to be cut off. I have a stadium tour booked this afternoon. Can I park at the ground? I thought some of you guys might know.

There was a highlights video for his birthday showing all the goals he has scored for Villa. About half of them went "Lovely ball from Grealish...WATKINS!" or something similar. He's doing fine this season without the same level of service. Hopefully our January signings will get him up to the same tally as last season.

The VAR took so long because they were searching for any justification to disallow the goal. So **** annoyed.
