Fat Sam would have been a better choice IMO. He also knows how to get out of the championship. I personally would not like to be another experiment for a foreign coach to cut his teeth on in the premiership .

I don't blame him, he has the ultimate crap hand to play with. However He is not the man to get us promoted out of the championship.

Sorry mate we can't , at least your far enough away to escape watching the dross we are served up week in week out.this team would struggle in the championship. We're going down make no mistake, I've tried to be positive for the last four years but the fact remains we have owner who wants out , a squad that is simply not good enough to sustain our premiership status. We're going down it's just a question of how far.

Both had teams playing ok we have been crap all last season and this one . We have no chance sadly the table don't lie. We are S###t you can't keep polishing a turd. I love the optimism on this site! The reality is we are bottom of the table and deserve to be there. Remi Garde or any manager can not turn this around sadly. The players we have at our disposal are not good enough to compete in this league. Who would want to come to villa in January when we are in the bottom three . No one available would be any good or would improve the team. Would the chairman sanction a spending spree, I think not ! Its really sad but we need to prepare for reality and life in the championship. First we need an owner who wants to be successful and and move the club forward. Until RL sells up the misery will continue as a villa fan and I would I would be seriously concerned about How competitive we would be in the championship . As any one watched the championship? We are going to struggle in that division make no mistake, unless things change at the top the Yank sells up we are in massive trouble. The football decisions made over the past few years are incredible. Unless a change of owner happens we are in for more of the same!!!!

Sorry but my point is point is the damage is already done. I disagree 2 good seasons in French football arriving at a club the state we are in IS A Massive gamble!

It's time we all woke up and started being realistic.Chairman owner no longer wants to be here, we have scrapped along last few seasons just. We sold 2 players in the summer and re invested the money in other players that are struggling. Were now risking an unknown manager in keeping us safe, but to be fair to him the damage has been done over the last few seasons. we will go down but the concern is what happens then! Until things change at the top sadly the decline of this once great club will continue.

Man management won't put the ball in the back of the net. Last season we did have quality up front, really not sure what we have got now!
