It don't matter where they come from , but it's an English league last time I looked. I belevie you need a core of home grown talent to be successful unless you can buy the absolute best , but even the most successful teams still have a few british players in the team, We need to maybe be a bit more savy in the market! Have a look at the Leicester squad

Our position in the table would suggest otherwise! There are also a lot of average English / British players in the championship they could do a job if given a chance. Whats the continued obsession of going abroad?

I agree they have not been integrated very well But apart from Amavi the rest are only average players IMO as a fan home and away. I have seen nothing to suggest other wise . They look good for 5 minutes on TV highlights but believe me they are distinvely average. Hence are leauge position. I may be old fashioned but I believe you need a core of British talent in the dressing room, unless you can afford the very very best of talent (man city )

I've just got back From West Ham , I love this club and have had a season ticket for many years! I can not continue to watch my club driven into the dirt. Im afraid enough is enough , I'm not going any more ! We are down the only way we can make any effective noise is to boycott the ground, as much as I hate totally hate tho admit. Flags outside protests chant will not affect or distract any one at board level. Stopping the little revenue we earn on match day will.. I will not give the club one single more pence of my money whilst it continues to be run into the ground by this board and Learner.

We have an owner who just wants the Business (our club) to run its self ! We have a manager inexperienced in this leauge and most certainly the championship who wants to play possession tippy tappy football minus the footballers! We have a board who want to buy him cheap foreign imports to play . None of this will see up promoted next year or the year after. We need a total clear out from TOP to BOTTOM (no pun intended) before we as villa fans will see any improvement! This is now I'm afraid a total Cluster Fu@@@@@

He is a bean counter come to cut costs , a puppet for Learner he will have no real authority, other than to reduce the costs of running the club in the championship.

Stevo it's all opinions that's why we post. Given the points we have now under Garde i question how many points we may have collected under the previous manager. I don't see any or very little improvement. We were lucky against palace and lucky today . I travel home and away where possible and have seen nothing in Garde to suggest he will inspire guide or build a team capable of climbing out of the championship. Of course this is my opinion!!
