  1. We have been flirting with relegation for the last few seasons, the odds are against us but it's still along way to go. As bad as the manager selection has been the facts are we don't invest the required amount of money to stay competitive in the league. The responsibility for this remains at Learners door. It's very likely we will be relegated, there are not many teams in the premier as bad as us in terms of quality in the squad, even the likes of Stoke Swansea are now more established and comfortable in the league. The question is will Remi stay when/if we drop down into the championship. What is the plan next year to finance our way out of the championship?
  2. There is along way to go, but the task is massive. This really would be a massive achievement to pull a club around from this position. My concern is can we really play our way out out of trouble with the players available and who will score goals for us.
  3. Were DOWN this has been on the horizon for the last 5 years, the team the resource available have all been scaled back. The lack of base quality in the team is bare for all to see. I believe by the time the January market opens to allow the manager some movement, the gap between the bottom 3 and safety will be to great. IMO Remi just has to much to do with far to little, can we bounce straight back? Really not so sure with the current squad. 100% hope I'm wrong but just can not see us getting out of this one!
  4. It's ok 27 games to go 36 points required, good luck Remi
  5. Good luck / I feel we are really going to need it, is Kev Mac making some sort of statement tonight not playing any of our young French stars..?
  6. Oh la lar can he get us up from the championship ? Or will he walk away at the end of the season back to French TV !
  7. no chance sadly, seems to me everyone is banking on another French Revolution to turn our club around because we have a handful of French speaking players , But we first have to wait until he can bring in his own tea lady change and the carpets before he accepts? Great eh
  8. Ridiculous logic. This isn't FM. Why can't he come on his own, if he is this great why not employ other back room staff, Ridiculous logic. This isn't FM. Why can't he come on his own, if he is this great why not employ other back room staff, Ridiculous logic. This isn't FM. Ok let's wait and give the teams above a bit more of a head start, normally when you sack someone in this business you have some one in the wings ready to step in!
  9. Why can't he come on his own, if he is this great why not employ other back room staff,
  10. This is turning into a complete pantomime again. We are bottom of the league with a very poor squad. So what do we do go looking for a French manager who has a modest reputation in France. Why we would risk the future of our club like this? Why haven't we approached David Moyes or Brendan Rodgers who have worked in the English premier successfully . in my opinion the route we are taking is high risk gamble that we do not have to take!!!
  11. we need a manager pal , if you can't see that after today and the dross we have been served up . I would take Rodgers but let's be honest would he want to come to us! Sure, but buying 15 players in one go will give these type of performances regardless of manager. I am stating that the team played good. Don't see the issue. if if if if .i don't agree we did not play well, Richards isn't a centre back, and Swnsea we're struggling and come to villa park and win after going behind. I'm sat in the Doug Ellis watching with both eyes open unfortunately we didn't play we'll mate!

  13. Sadly it's more than Tim Sherwood that's wrong with our once great club, he is out of his depth totally , but it's now to late despite some miracle we can convince a half decent manager to work for Randy and his clowns. Not going to happen !
  14. with players such as Hutton, Guzan and Clark in it? No chance. Ayew and Veretout have shown nothing so far aswell. It's also a very lightweight team. 15th at best. disagree - first TS hasn't got the bottle to pick it it's also very very light weight . We are in TROUBLE
  15. No. People don't want him sacked because we lost at Chelsea. why ??????? ive just watched crap again Chelsea or not !
  16. We can't waste any more time that second half was poor. The team look nervous and void of shape or any idea. How many negative passes today !!!!!! if he don't go soon we will be deep deep in trouble. he is totally out of his depth!!!
  17. Yes it will be option 2 but we are already 4 point adrift it will be more like 8 to 10 points unless we act now!!!!!!!!!
  18. West ham played some decent football last season, tailed off at the end of the season but he did include some flair players!, The situation we are in I would take a manager who can give us stability structure shape passion and POINTS
  19. This is a really poor excuse - we could never replace Benteke with an equivalent but generally the overwhelming opinion is that we have a much more balanced squad and many many more options. We can't afford to become cut adrift whilst Tactics Tim "finds his best XI" (he won't). Fox either acts now or we will be dead and buried by December. My guess is that we will see him go after the next two or three games. Chelsea will hammer us We might have more options but they many of them are new to the Premier League and are not fit enough as Sherwood pointed out in his post match interview. Look at the energy that Cleverley and Delph brought to the team and compare that to what we had today. I don't know if Sherwood is right for the job but he deserves to be given more time having kept up up last season and bought in so many players. Not having a dig at you in anyway but I simply cannot comprehend why people think he deserves to be given more time. His performance in the job is appalling irrespective of keeping us up last season. He is currently being out performed by the Bournemouth manager who has lost arguably his three best players to injury already this season. His tactics are woeful, his ability to organise a defence seemingly non existent while his interview border on the farcical. He is out of his depth and a walking cliche who believes the BS that comes out of his mouth. This man is an ass clown and he is taking us down. He doesn't deserve time just because he kept up season. Yes well Eddie Howe has done a brilliant job at Bournemouth. I agree Sherwood has made mistakes but I still think its too soon to get rid of him. How can you expect him to know his best team with so many signings! I didn't like the team selection today but the players that kept of us last season. Namely, Benteke, Delph and Cleverley have gone and the players that have come in and replaced them aren't anywhere near the same level yet. We were going down last season before Sherwood came so its no surprise we are struggling now without those players. This is a really poor excuse - we could never replace Benteke with an equivalent but generally the overwhelming opinion is that we have a much more balanced squad and many many more options. Yes well Eddie Howe has done a brilliant job at Bournemouth. I agree Sherwood has made mistakes but I still think its too soon to get rid of him. we can't wait!!!! I'm not a fan of sacking managers this early but it's very very clear Tim Sherwood is out of his depth. Christmas will be to late I really believe we will be totally adrift
  20. If we wait any longer it will be to late, it's clear now for all to see no shape no clue who is best 11 is no idea - He has to go, NOW
  21. We will be in the bottom 3 after 19 games and it will be to late. I hope I'm wrong but we have only won 6 games since TS took over, he is tactically inept . I'm all for giving him more time but to what end. I have very little confidence this situation will change. Very tough fixtures coming up let's hope he can decide a formation style of play and his best 11 . The leauge is very competitive even at the bottom end where we are competing we have to pick up points. I agree we have to give the players time but how long do you give a. Manager totally out of his depth!
  22. It will be to late by Christmas ,IMO but this board will wait and I really believe we will be in deep trouble by the end of November
