Scapegoat he is not just a very very poor manager. Should not have been appointed. The board and owner has been poor we all understand but surly every one can see thru this guy . Clueless why would we risk giving him a chance in an even more competitive football division next year.

What stability into league 1 with under Garde any other circumstances he would be sacked.

Rubbish rubbish , a manager is paid to motivate and push players, Garde is garbage sorry people are disillusioned if they think he would be any better we a few of his own players . We should have stayed with the joker Sherwood rather than be served up this crap every week . Nice polite French men do not make managers!!!

Really like your optimism , but I don't think he is good enough! I want to bounce straight back under a proven manager, not risk another season. Anyway the decision will not be ours but the powers that be! I'm worried again !

So we can really afford to risk that given he has achieved nothing . I don't understand he is allegedly a football coach he should have got more out of this team , he hasn't and has not demonstrated any direction or purpose. Agree he has been let down by the club but my point is he should given his track record in the amazing competitive football world of France achieved more! I don't want to keep changing managers ( just the owner) but I want a manager who can get us out of the championship not to risk it again on nice guy Remi!

I'm totally staggered by the Remi Garde love in on this site! ok he did not get a chance to buy any players, he has had the majority of the season to do something COACH the available players . I don't see any improvement what so ever under Garde why would we risk next season with the nice bloke who looks really intelligent and had a good season in French football! Sorry he has to go we need experience to guide us out of that championship not a nice guy who would fail to inspire French onion soup !

No mate I don't hopefully he will leave , Sherwood was totally slated and rightly so for the start of the season . However Garde is loved by lots of villa fans for being a very nice gentlemen. His record is appalling he had no experience of English premier league . I do not accept it's not his team or his players . He is a football coach paid to coach and motivate players, he hadn't shown anything for me. we need a proven championship manager who know that league and a proven track record in it. Nigel Pearson obvious choice for me.

No Managers run teams and manage and coach players! agree we need new owner but the current coaching set up is not good enough!

The board chairman and set up is crap . This is no excuse for the players and team wearing the claret and blue not run them selves into the ground and scrap for every ball. no pride no passion no idea . Nice guy Remi Garde nice doesn't win you games done nothing for me at all. Villa and him need to move on in the summer.

Owner board room aside we have massive problems we all agree. BUT Garde has to take some responsibility for performances on the pitch. He is a coach who should have inspired coached something out of this rable. He has not cut it for me and I don't believe he will cut it in the Championship next year.

Manufacturing hasn't done very well over the last few years in the EU. What do we build or make any more this has all fallen away. Jobs and skills are constantly watered down by cheap labour from Europe . Why do you think the rest of Europe are desperate for us to stay. We need control of our boarders and the ability to self govern. I'm for out !

We'll i F@@@@king remember Because it was a great weekend in the smoke , the odds against us - he got us out of trouble last year like it or not. The team played for him! We are no better with Garde than we would have been under Sherwood .
