I'm really not / we still have the squad from last season albeit a couple of new signings. Chairman saying the right things will not change the team on the field. The season ahead will be one of adjustment foe villa and a massive shock to the system we all ( I believe ) still don't appreciate. I believe we will be around upper mid table team given the current status of the squad and investment. Hope I'm wrong but RDM has how work cut out!

Noises from the club don't win games! This squad is still shit we will struggle unless Tony stops making noises and gets the cash out to support RDM.

We all need to hope we can survive in the championship! I'm amazed the amount of optimism with regards are chances of promotion! If the takeover fails we really are in a world of Pooh!

I'm amazed we think the championship will be a breeze for villa next year we still don't have confirmed new owner we don't have a manager. We still have the same shit squad Not capable of challenging for the Micky mouse cup. The repair to our club is going to take some time

I agree I can't help but feel given the work required we have gone for RDM / but we need to get behind him IF this is the Drs choice. It's going to be a very tough season ahead I feel to challenge.

I hope I'm wrong really but I do not see us getting up first time. I belevie there are better teams positioned to push for promotion next year , and we will struggle. We need to refresh the squad we need players to bed in with the new manager . The manager needs to Attract players the get them playing the way he wants. The manager will need time! This is a new dawn for the club but I still think there is an awfull lot of work to be done just to get us positioned to challenge. again hope I'm wrong but I belevie we will need more than one season to sort this mess out .

Why would he? What has he been doing since 2010 ? i personally hope the speculation around RDM is speculation. This would be a massive gamble on a manager who has not been around the English game for 5 years.

Yeh And 4 midfield players 2 strikers and some back up. I'm more concerned currently of realistically competing in the championship. Have we all just blanked out last season??? with have a new owner we now need the structure of the club to be built again and a new team and manager with strategy . Really really hope I'm wrong but it's going to be very difficult to bounce back straight away. The state we are in will take some sorting out we are not in a position I feel to challenge for the championship. Lets hope we appoint the correct manager/ really concerned RDM is being linked.
