  1. Isn’t his contract up this summer?
  2. Isn’t his contract up in the summer
  3. Could well still be Emi, he won’t have posted that himself. His social media team who probably cover a lot of players could have posted it
  4. Brighton we’re winless in 7
  5. Crazy! Almost as if managerial contracts are usually 2/3 years. Also Gerrards done well to get 3 contracts when he’s only been managing just over 3 years
  6. Tonev was an unreal footballer. Don’t believe me? Just search him on YouTube
  7. If only Terry had tried harder in his playing career he could of been as good as Grealish
  8. The reason people don’t mind Dean Smith being a Tory is because the majority of our fan base is Tory.
  9. What’s the actual truth on the Henry being offered the job? Howard Hodgson who’s very well connected to the club said we did offer the job and he turned us down. He has no reason to lie.
  10. Fake account. And no, Prince William didn’t text Steven Gerrard last night and then made sure to let “Hamish Azul” know.
  11. I can already picture the pre match press questions “Stevie, Bailey has been out for 2 months and you’ve been saying he’s touch and go every press conference for the last month, will he be fit for Saturday?” Steven Gerrard:
  12. I’d rather go for Klopp or Guardiola as they have Prem experience.
  13. Absolutely this! There’s managers that are realistic and without a job “Favre, Fonseca etc.” Then there’s managers that are within jobs that are either realistic or they just wouldn’t leave their current club “Gerrard, Ralph, Potter” then there’s absolutely no chance suggestions “Mancini, Ten Hag, Simeone”. So everyone has different opinions based on their realism (and maybe delusion) of who we could actually get. I just want someone who will play attractive attacking football and have a defined tactical style of play. Gerrard fits that, although not my first choice, he has done a great job at Rangers (please research if you don’t think so) and so I would be okay with it, even if it’s not as inspiring as some names
  14. I don’t think Dean was sacked because we wanted more ambition. I think Dean was sacked because of 5 losses in a row coupled with 18/35 losses in 2021. Im sure if Gerrard does that with us he’ll be out the door also
  15. I think Gerrard will improve us. Not the best appointment (I’d of gone with Favre or Hassenhutl/Potter) but not the worst in A Terry/Martinez who would get us relegated. I also share the worry that he’ll be off to Liverpool at the first opportunity , but he’ll have done well here hopefully if he wants that job. I think the people who don’t want him because “he’s a scouser” need to give their head a wobble. It’s very synonymous with our club that people don’t like people because of their differences. Probably the same bunch of people who go to away games and sing “oh Bl*** Tammy, Abraham”, “his dads a Rasta, McGinns his master” and “his cocks **** massive”. We do have the most arrests in the league linked to racism. Not saying not liking Gerrard is racist, but it doesn’t surprise me that some people have this “he’s a robbing scouser I don’t want him near the club” opinion.
  16. Danny Murphy has always been that type of footballer who sucks his own daughters toes
  17. Well he only joined Anderlecht 3 months ago, and they’ve had a poor start to the season so I don’t think we can read too much into it. Wonder why he left?
  18. The relevance is meant to be they’ve not sold their best (or one of their best) players. I was just highlighting them. Personally I think you have to take into account who we’ve (they’ve) sold to judge a windows success.
  19. Maybe the fans aren’t happy and probably rightly so, the owners have put the brakes on spending this year. But you could say the same about us (same net spend). I’m not necessarily saying I like what they’ve done. Just looking at it from a what have they lost/what have they gained. I’d say they’ll do better this season than last. I don’t think we will. Still think we’ll be around the 11-14th mark, but was hoping for more after our window got off to a great start. As I said before. If we had kept Grealish but added Axel (loan) and Young (free), I don’t think people would have been too happy. One thing I’m happy about is we are not a one man team anymore. Problem atm is we can’t keep a full strength team fit to measure if we are better. We’ll probably have a better idea after playing Chelsea, Ev, Man Utd and Spurs. Not very optimistic
  20. Trincao and the Hwang-lee chan in whilst keeping Neves, Neto, Adam, Jimenez etc. You should probably check before making these statements haha
  21. Sorry I’m looking at who they’ve lost vs who they’ve bought in West Ham for example kept Rice and have added Kral, Vlasic, Zouma and Areola on top. How is it beyond ridiculous to think that’s better than us losing Grealish etc and getting Ings Bailey, Buendia, Young and axel. No one knows how these players for both teams are going to perform, it’s all opinions.
  22. West Ham, Arsenal, Wolves and Palace definitely did as they kept their best player(s) and bought well on top of that. Everton didn’t spend much (2m) but got in Gray and Lookman which look like great signings so I’d say them as well. Leeds didn’t lose Phillips but only strengthened in a position (winger) they don’t really need. Southampton lost ings and their best CB but signed JWP and looks like they’ve supplemented the squad nicely on top of that. Unfortunately, Grealish screwed us over with the release clause, nothing more the owners could of done. So I’d say West Ham, Arsenal, Wolves, Palace and Everton had better windows. Then Leeds and Southampton had similiar windows to us (maybe ours is slightly better as we had the most difficult job replacing Joe)
