Players have to be wanted by another team and not take a pay cut which is why we're stuck with some Bruce big wage signings. Thanks again Potato Head I'm not trying to be rude but many posters seem to be living in fantasy land regarding how easy it is to sign players in our current status or offload Championship level players on big wages.

January is a horrible window. Look at all the other club's signings. I think we were financially restrained and 4 parties have to agree for a player to come.

The cold hard reality is we had no choice but to buy practically half a squad so we were always going to be pushing poo up a hill with a stick and losing McGinn one of our star midfielders skittled us. Teams around us have had seasons of team solidity and even the lower teams have been spending PL budgets for several seasons. The $$$ that Bruce spent on mostly junk put us in this position. We just have to hope we stay up to kick on and I don't think that's impossible. Regardless we have sensible structure in place for the first time in decades

We dominated possession vs Bournemouth 60 vs 40 had more shots but 1 less on target could've had penalty, and Konsa was fouled before one of their goals. It was a 6 pointer but we got out muscled and didn't get the rub of the green. It happens You're exaggerating and want to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
