You ever thought that the lad could be quality? It doesn't matter where he signs from. It's how good he is that counts.

If we all put our scepticals on, we might see who it is before it's posted on twitter.

Tunisia's shirts are solid. The 3rd kit is immense.

These untapped markets could take us to the next level. Or prison.

I loved the Sneijder summer. I started off thinking it was absolute balls and then slowly got swept up in it and dreamed we could get him. I'm going to jump on this one. He would replace Tammy nicely. Right age, right style. Most signings won't be mega but maybe we could have 1 or 2? Let's get this snowballing so we can feel the crushing disappointment when he goes somewhere more established. We damand Maxi!

I'm not a fan of the older signings but for a 1/2 year deal whilst we cement ourselves, Cahill makes sense to me. His lack of games last year just means he's less burnt out to me. 33 isn't that old and he's never been about pace anyways. Mings and Cahill for a season isn't that bad.

If true, this is an absolute steal. Young, developing, showed enough on the pitch that he has the attributes to make it. £3m was cheap before the ridiculous TV money, now, it's almost a free transfer. He's not a world beater but he's young enough, raw enough and seemingly smart enough to be coached and improved beyond what he was when he first arrived. I know Wolves aren't doing too bad but I think they're dropping a bollock here, like when we let Cahill and Albrighton go. He probably won't start many games but when needed he'll put his head up. In the play-off final when he replaced, Mings, he was launching himself at everything, putting his body in where it hurts. When you get that from a loanee, you know he's got good character, as most will make it look like they couldn't make a challenge that could hurt them. I don't want to gush too much because he's not all that but he has the right attitude to improve further and the fee is brilliant. Under Dean and co's coaching, I think we could develop a really solid, ball playing, defender. I love this signing. Assuming it's happening.

I disagree. Up with this sort of thing.

Limited to 20 starts in the league though. You're right though, they probably wouldn't sell and if they did, Levy asks daft money.

No rumour or link but maybe Ben Davies as LB? Or is 26 too old now?

He looks like he's mainly on the right in most of these clips.

8 assists in 35 starts is decent for a right back. Corny saying or not.

Cardiff would have been down a month or two earlier without Etheridge. If we can find better again then I'm all for that but he's proved his quality last season.

Butland £30m or Etheridge for £10m? (If accurate) If they cost the same, I'd still pick Etheridge.

If we were after a new keeper and it was Butland or Etheridge, I'd have Etheridge every day of the week. I know plenty of you stopped watching Prem footy after we went down but I carried on because of playing fantasy football for money with my mates and the guy was an absolute monster last season. Cardiff would have been goners way sooner if it wasn't for him. If £10m is what they want then that's an absolute bargain!

He's only just turned 26 too so we'd be getting his prime years. Not much in terms of re-sale value but this deal isn't about that. It's a solid investment for a good few years.
