Just seen a still of it and it looks like the cyclist got a wheel hooked over each side the barrier for a stretch before flipping over it. Unfortunately looks like a lot of children were sitting at the front at that location. Hope they're all ok.
Definitely. Think-tank is so tired now... so many out of date exhibits from the 80s in there. The bull would really work well there and hopefully attract some people in that direction.

It's been such a huge bit with everybody that it just seems like it's worth whatever it costs to give it a permanent home. Ten grand? Twenty? Peanuts compared to what it would be worth over a lifetime of visitors to a museum exhibit. It would be so shortsighted to let this opportunity go to waste. But would be typical Birmingham though.
With the underestimation of how long the wheelchair racers would take and now this it feels like it hasn't been a great day for the road race organisers.
