    I kind of agree, he could be worth 1m he could be worth 100m in a few years. Personally I see transfers as bets, where some players have more attractive odds than others.

    It's outrageous Touchel has been sacked with his record for them. Touchel and Pochetino on the market now. I doubt either would come but it is worth the call.

    We always sign in the age bracket I mentioned and sell players who aren’t performing highly for us before they reach an age where their value drops rapidly (28) you only keep 28 plus when they are absolutely vital for us.

    Did I miss players that are good? Or have I tipped players who have gone on to not being good? Yes to the first, no to the second. At worst they have stayed at the same level so I tipped Max Aarons for example

Sangare before he moved to PSV for 6m Koopmeiners before he moved to Atalanta for 9-11m Kamara - now with us Bailey - Now with us Buendia - the summer before he joined us for nearly half the price he eventually moved to us. Botman - Last summer Sosa - 2 summers ago Literally the list goes on, I'm not a professional scout, it isn't that hard and we are an attractive destination for foreign players and Championship players.

    Nope, completely disagree, we aren't talking about signing some 16 year old from cowdenbeath, we are talking about signing people who are 19-25 who have already done it elsewhere. The experienced people come from the ones who have succeeded here already that we didn't want to sell (27+)

    Yes, I would also take Rodgers over Gerrard any day of the week! He wouldn't be in my top three choices though, I also think the same as you with regards to the self refelction.

    Which is exactly what should be looked at it is no where near good enough. We should be realistically looking at 60 points and he is achieving 22 less than that.

    Ok I think we all understand the club employed SG.... It isn't a short period of employment it is now 30 odd games and he has won 3 in the last 16 is it now? The football is awful, there seems to be no plan and there has been no progress.

    Exactly, all he did was play Luiz and pack the midfield as a tactic against a side that was always going to have all the ball, it wasn't rocket science. It will however have brought him the next two games for sure I think. Lets see if he has learnt the most obvious way to play better yet

    Kamara - Great Carlos - Not a fan regardless of the injury Augustinsson - Meh whatever. Bednarek (loan) - Don't feel like he is a step up from Hause and definitely not on the other 3 Dendonckner - Why? Just why? If we sign a midfielder it needs to be better than most of our current midfielder which he isn't. Young (again) - Shouldn't have the OAP in the team. Olsen (made perm) - Fine Coutinho (made perm) - I wouldn't have signed him even under the attractive terms
