The data behind it shows it to be even more impressive. Stats like us having 10 shots or less against us per game on average which is something like the 3rd lowest in the league, it shows it isn't a fluke as such.

Yep I base a good season on 1.6 as it takes you to 60 which for me is the mark where you can do something like get in the europa league or know you weren't far off the CL places. 2.28 is title winning form in a lot of seasons.

That's fine, I don't care what he wants. We should only make deals that benefit us and I am very against giving 100k plus to players unless exceptional.

He is an upgrade on Ings but I wouldn't be going over 4m a year for him, I doubt he will be the automatic first choice here.

I’ve seen a few people saying sell him and buy Thuram on the face of it that would be good business but I think a lot of top teams fancy Thuram as a squad player and the wages he will ask for will be massive as he is free in the summer.

You would never sell a player on those terms they are frankly ridiculous. Sure add a few million on for staying up. Sure wait for 15m but you can’t make it 20 and add money on for if you come back up for a guy that isn’t first choice here on massive wages turning 31 soon and doesn’t suit our style. just laughable, there has to be give and take
