  1. Said it was Aus only, have to admit I just spring for AVTV as well as not all Villa matches are live on Fox on demand.
  2. Can this be used internationally? Not sure mate, what country are you looking at?
  3. Just purchased a month's subscription to Fox Sports on Demand. About $5 AUD a week, also get access to a lot of extras, obviously not villa related though. Will give it a go and see if I have Cap'n Jack withdrawals or not!
  4. Thanks for the response guys. @Feidhlim I liked being able to support the club too! Was a part of my initial purchase. I don't mind audio commentary, but being able to watch the games is preferable. @Chewie Doesn't sound bad, might have to check it out!
  5. There was comment on the OS from Tim I think saying that some new players won't be up to starting. Think Rudy might fall into this with Veretout. So I guess that leaves Libor as the last man standing, however if Gabby is declared fit to play then I think he will start. All that said I would be surprised if we didn't see at least a cameo of Big Rudy
  6. Hi all, Sorry if there is better forum to drop this in. Looking for some insight, particularly fellow Australian Villans. How do you get your fix? Last season I subscribed to AVTV and loved off the audio commentary for live games. Before that I lived with the folks and had Foxtel to watch. Weighing up my options for this season. Can't get Foxtel installed, but what are you guys using to follow our boys? ATM its between AVTV or Foxtel on-line for Premier League games. Thoughts?
  7. Think he will be more utilised in midfield this coming season. Definitely keep a hold of him though as if it hits proverbial fan with injuries he can put in a shift in a few positions. As back up it depends on the game. Think we will see both at LB at times depending how we go. Sherwood, I think, will feel it important to get Bennet a little game time of the situation arises.
  8. They'll probably start with their hair styles. Unless it's a phone call, in which case they might start with voices, or by asking each other what they're wearing."hi rudy, I heard you took Tim's facial really well..."
  9. Hmmm, I was very happy with the idea of Ade coming here under the right contract. It will depend how our forward line fire this year, need some double digits from Gabby and Co then
  10. He also crossed the ball about as well as a piece of driftwood too...
  11. Not up to scratch! My man, Tim (like Pierce Hawthorne of Hawthrone Wipes) suffers from Hyper-Virility. The speed at which the sperm exit the body is enough to punch through flesh and steel alike. A full-blown Sherwood facial is the equivalent to French kissing a sawn-off shotgun as someone pulls the trigger. Luckily Tim takes it down a notch for new signings....
  12. Really? you should have mentioned you don't like or rate him. well jeez never said it was a good plan! Hahaha we will see, could very well turn out to be a hopeless idea, but could work as well. I hope your joking about Donacien btw...
  13. Exactly my thoughts regarding Richards! We have cover at CB with Senderos and Baker, so until use Richards here, if he makes it all the better if he doesn't he can go out to RB (having a player of Hutton's calibre as a backup is a good thing for us). Okore has a lot of potential, and him and Clark should be our long term centre back plan.
  14. I liked him, strong defender. Definitely think Amavi is an upgrade though, but thought with Aly we could let him blood in over a longer period of time. Onwards and upwards, and all the best to Aly in his future endeavours. Can't believe the bad rap he got before he came here still...
  15. I don't really blame Lambert for his signings. Resources were clearly more limited back then than they are now and on the whole he spent the money reasonably well in most cases. The problem with Lambert was actually managing the team and getting results. i would go as far as to say that Lambert's signings were probably his biggest asset. Considering his budget I thought he purchased relatively well. Vlaar, Westwood, Benteke, Okore, Bacuna. Kozac and Gill could still both make an impression as well. Obviously a lot of flops as well, but all considered not to bad. Obviously I prefer the signings we have made this window, but we have splashed a lot more cash.
  16. the term Senderboss was being thrown around I remember! He was solid when he played, can't comment on him taking himself out of contention, but if that's a load then I'd keep him around for options
  17. I treated myself to watching a highlights video. I forgot just how good he was! The most ridiculous control. I think he could add something to us, but still wouldn't be comfortable with both him and Adebayor, but I think I'm leaning towards Berbatov now (not that I'd kick Emmanuel out of bed mind!)
  18. To be honest I think Gabby has a big part to play at Bournemouth. I would start him with Sinclaire and Ayew either side. Can't see Gestede getting the call up just yet, so it would be between him and Kozak for me. Gabby pips him with PL experience, which could be important against the new boys.
  19. I think I would line up. Bun Hutton Richards Clarke Amavi Westwood Cole Gueye Ayew Sincalire Gabby Thinks it's important to get the most PL experience we can out their against the newly promoted boys. They like to attack, and that front three has some serious pace. Happy for Guzan to be GK, just think that with lack of preparation the defense will be more used to Bunn from preseason. Defense picks itself imo, just need to rein in richards runs. Westwood and Gueye are no brained, nice combo there. Would go Vertout but not sure if he is ready yet, then I think Cole or Bacuna for the time being. Ayew and Sinclair as inside forwards will trouble them and stretch there double pivot players. Gabby will do what gabby does, but his pace will keep them honest
  20. To me, he's seemed to have that touch of class/ quality that we usually lack. He's still had some dodgy moments but a lot of his play has been calm, composed and fairly accurate. He's like Sinclair but with more natural ability. good to hear! Nice to have some forwards who are calm on the ball! I have a feeling he could do well here
  21. Seems to be some positive comments about Ayew so far... Those watching what's he looking like/bringing to the team and play?
  22. of course, the one who I was looking forward to see how they get on.. Ohh well at least I can hear about how Ayew goes
