  1. But if we don't bring in someone else we could use it to compete with other teams big signing news
  2. well it has to rate somewhere between The Mail and Credible Twitter Source I would say
  3. if only we could be having this conversation 5 years ago DDID.... I know. Lescott too. Oh Martin, you prat. Happy for the experience now though. Exactly what this young side needs. I'm confident Ade would also bring goals, but that's for another thread. definitely a player like them has a part to play for us.
  4. Someone's updates his wiki page to say we are his current team
  5. if only we could be having this conversation 5 years ago DDID....
  6. but can he show new signings around the club?
  7. waiting for someone to shop him into the doorway of our new keeper pocture
  8. but what's his goals to minutes ratio? His net spend? And how old is Micha again? 2 goals every minute! sign him upwhat this guy said
  9. **** it, I just want to see this happen! Might well be past it, might well put up double digits and assists for us. Only one way to find out, and I have a feeling what ever the outcome we will have some highlights and fun in the journey.
  10. better then a goal every 2 minutes, sign him up! Dan't be daft! If you read it correctly, it's actually better than 1 minute for every 2 goals. A goal every 30 seconds is acceptable at our level. Yes, but does he do anything else apart from goals? Yeah, thought so. in his defence with stats like that I don't think he has time to do anything else!
  11. I would love to pretend I know about this kid but I don't. Hopefully he comes good though!
  12. better then a goal every 2 minutes, sign him up!
  13. I don't mind CNZ, but I have honestly cracked one with this news! Just thinking about the type of player we could be giving that 68K too! On a side note Mark Milligan is a good midfielder. Definitely not Prem level, but always does a good job in the national team alongside Jedinak
  14. I'm glad it looks like he is staying. Seems like a likeable guy, and a good CB. That game against Liverpool where he niggled Baleotelli out of them game was fantastic. A different game to out current CB's who are all a little blood and thunder.
  15. Was going to post similar. There is something about him that I'm not completely struck on but he scores goals. The game tonight and that at Forest sum him up perfectly in my mind, in neither game did he really stand out, (IMO) there were moments in both that left me pulling my hair out, yet he finishes both game with the match ball. Can't really fault that I suppose. I, for one, am more then happy for Scot to do bugger all all game but come away with a hat trick.
  16. only listening on AVTV, not watching but doesn't sound that way
  17. I've just poured myself an ice-cold martini, thrown on the PJ's and am settling in to listen to what I reckon will be 2-1 win to us. Graelish to open his account and a Gestede header from an amavi cross
  18. Someone plays Football Manager....... I, Luke from Brisbane, Australia also think that Dennis Praet from Anderlect would be a good signing for Tim Sherwood from London, the manager of Aston Villa from Witton.
  19. We seem to have been very wise/lucky with finding a replacement for PL. It could have worked out a lot worse, which was why I supported him probably for too long. But, as you suggest, it's ironical that thanks to him we're now spending about three times as much per player and the squad is looking pretty good, and this makes him appear to have been incompetent in the transfer market (We're also able to offer proper wages to new signings because Lambert's signings aren't on high wages.) Closer to the truth is probably that he was just less competent at getting the owner to invest actual money in the squad. Westwood is a typical example of a Lambert signing: Good value, but not a world-beater because world-beaters just do not cost less than three million pounds any more. I still thought that Lambert was good in the transfer window considering the limitations placed on him. Westwood, Okore, Bacuna, Benteke all good players, particularly considering the money spent. Of course he also got some absolute tripe aswell....
  20. Highly ironic. I think this might be the funniest post I've read on here.
  21. Decent squad player, does a job and tons of experience. Id also keep him there is 5 of us now! Jeez at this rate we might not be a minority!
  22. Handy squad player, still want him to stay as one of a few who looked arsed about the FA cup final
  23. but how good would it be if he got, and then kept, Snakes spot!
  24. We need some solid players with premiership experience, I think us fans have had plenty of exciting signings so far this summer. Lescott or Fonte would be good additions to compliment what we already have at the back.agree wholeheartedly. Seen a lot of people very against this, particularly lescott. I am a fan of his, a solid no-nonsense defender is being used poorly at Brom. I think bring him in as back up (still a while from Okore returning) particularly if we lose Senderos. I think both joleon and Phillippe is overkill but I like the idea of one proven premier league CB as a backup.
