Surprised after Tim's comments after the Man City game. Hard to begrudge Given though, I think we are blessed to have such a high quality keeper like Given to let us make these decisions.

Big Hutton fan, considering our situation he needs to be in. Without Ciaran he gives us that big crunching tackle defensive steel that can make opponents double think. Think Bacuna has done a good job, but Sherwood has even said that he doesn't think of him as a right back. Maybe push him up a bit and make room for both?

Think Luongo is a solid move, good cover for Delph and if he continues his international form could be a real player for us. I think Richards is a solid bet as well. Can cover multiple defensive positions and if he hits his peak could make life without Vlaar easier. Either way I'm happy with him as cover for RB/CB. Another striker would make for a solid transfer window. I think with Aly and Kieran we have enough immediate LB cover, could potentially persist with Lowton as I think he has more chance here then breaking up the Hutton/Bacuna show on the right side.

Hi all, Been lurking here for long enough now, definitely time to get involved. Long time Villa fan, 24 from Brisbane Australia. Got in touch with relatives from England when I was a little one who said that my Great-Grandfather was a life-long Villain and had been involved with the club in some way. That was it for me and the rest is history! Villa has always had a good Aussie connection with Bozza, and then Herdy and Holman more recently. Looking forward to sharing my view and discussing all things villa with you guys UTV
