  1. Maybe he’s on his way back for Scotland WC preperations
  2. that suggests to me that whoever is the driving force behind the club is getting it right.
  3. Unbelievable Jeff you don‘t even need hindsight to know that it was bound to happen. Sorry, slip of the tongue, it was Round to happen. There you have it, it wasn‘t even Bruce‘s, the coaches or the players fault. Bound Out
  4. We need the manager to play to our strengths, not exposing our weaknesses
  5. No excuses for a draw at least. But we need 3pts We have Davis to bring people into play. Even Gab can be a nuisance up front. So we need our „second row“ to be productive. Our 2nd row pool of players are CH JG CO‘H Adomah Onomah Lansbury & Elmo. If we go Whelan & Jedi (even jetlagged) as DM‘s and Davis up top (even Gaby as a sub or Davis gets injured). to pick 3 from those 7 with an intent to score, is not difficult. If the „injury list“ is just an excuse for Bruce, then we are definately F***ed and definately wont even make the top 6. SJ Bree Chester RDL Taylor Whelan Jedi Elmo Hourihane Adomah Davis Subs Steer Elphick/Hutton (oh dear) Samba (oh F******* dear) Onomah Grealish O‘Hare Gaby * I‘m presuming Snod Lansbury & Kodjia are all out for this game ** Even if Bruce goes Hutton Chester Samba Taylor There‘s enough in front of those 4 to keep the ball away from our goal and score 1 or 2
  6. imagine if his name was George Best
  7. What would Arsenal do then? sorry I mean Loserpool er Spuds er ManC er ManU sorry I meant West Haaaaaaaaaaaayam
  8. outs Hutton Elphick Samba Richards Thor & Gaby If they count as „transferable“ Calderwood Clements Bruce Round & Wyness Ins CB LB DM CF Transfers or compensation Coaches & Manager Plus Bernstein King & Hollis to sort the mess out
  9. I thought it about time I agreed with you on somat yes me too potentially it would free up the 4 in front freeing up a fullback to support either side/both yes I have to disagree here It would be 100 times prettier than the Bruce-Ball-Hoof-Ball
  10. you‘re finally coming round to the correct way of thinking Better late than never
  11. Absolutely. Then it‘s even more confusing that Bruce had Jedi as proof that an old hand with no legs and injury prone was not what we needed. However, he still bought Whelan (basically like for like) with minimal improvement. Hence, numbers in MF instead of quality. Leaving us short (only 1 up top). Now a manager of his experience should have known that. Taking this info into account, Bruce should have bought a Davis-type player instead of Hogan and a more mobile destroyer than Whelan. We are now approaching a Jan window where we need a CB & LB just to do the same old. When we actually need a DM with passing skills, A CB as cover, a LB for cover and a CF (Davis like) for cover so that we can make use of the money spent on Hogan, Lansbury and Hourihane, plus the Snod & Onomah loans to come to fruition
  12. From that one can only conclude Kodjia got Bruce out of jail last season Despite a slight change in personel (Davis as hold-up player) Kodjia not scoring as often but others chipping in. Either way Bruce is failing us
  13. Absolute nonsense Tro If that is what you are suggesting then we need to sell Whelan Jedi Kodjia Hogan McC Grealish O‘Hare Hourihane and lansbury Then buy 3 DM‘s one left footed one right footed and one as cover who can hoof and find a Villa shirt Plus 2 CF a la Davis, one first teamer and one as cover, who hang on last defender and are strong in the air Then we can go Bruce-ball 100% SJ Elmo Samba Chester Hutton RDM LDM Snod Adomah Davis & 6ft+er CF Hourihane Onomah O‘Hare Grealish & McC -> through balls to Hogan & Kodjia All say hello Tro really is Bruce If not Steve, At least Alex Bruce.
  14. It only illustrates the complete idiocy of Bruce‘s „Scared to lose“ mentality. 0-2 down after 30 odd mins————— long long not enough positive intent (with a bit of risk involved) Then finally we have the players on the pitch that can do something creative in attack, time running out - what happens - Goal. Too little too late. Makes you wonder about the sheer ignorance and blindness of someone who 1 - plays CH further forward = scores goals 2 - brings on 2 players with a bit if imagination = goal Then reverts back to cautious play. Madness - no chance of success
  15. I‘d go SJ RDL/Bree Chester Jedi Taylor Whelan Elmo O‘Hare/Grealish Hourihane Adomah Davis If Kodjia is fit Adomah O‘H/JG Hourihane Kodjia Davis
  16. I fear Bruce-ball away day blues. He‘ll go SJ Hutton Samba Chester Taylor Hutton is sh*t - Bambi on ice - Chester on his weaker side - Taylor will be fit but game rusty (should have been brought back earlier) Taylor - 30.9.17 was his last game, thats 7weeks out because he didnt play him v SheffW - shocking management) Elmo Whelan Jedi Hourihane Adomah Basically flooding the MF with only CH capable of a pass completion above 50%. Wingers will be deployed as 2nd full backs either side, leaving us to hoof to Davis or Kodjia (if fit) The guy hasnt got a clue 3-1 loss
  17. cracking post the bolded part meaning Davis holds ball up - MF can join in Hoof to Kodjia - Kodjia magic = goal Hoof to Hogan - wrong tactic for players movement
  18. QPR A Sunderland H Ipswich H Leeds A Millwall H Derby A Sheff Utd H No tweets from the doc surely means Dead man walking. 2 defeats from the above and he‘s done. My money‘s on QPR & Leeds. Sit back v Ipswich and it may be curtains latest Derby A
  19. I say let him go. Maybe without him Wyness has no lacky to fob off DrT about keeping Bruce on
  20. then I‘d rather us lose fighting you?
  21. The logic behind that being that: Set up defensively........and we still lose against the better teams
