There are however clearly groups of people who can see the bigger picture and are prepared to give a manager time and those who still can't get over the fact that the days of finishing 6th in the league are gone for the time being and want it back right now at any cost. And no, you are right, obviously I can't determine which posters turned up once Lerner came in but what I can do is apply what I have seen in the real world to an online forum. The same people I know who only showed an interest in Villa at that time are the same ones who can't grasp the current situation.

Ok, Who could get the current squad playing better then? And what others players do you actually know were available and interested in coming to Villa that would have improved our current situation? As far as I'm concerned Lambert is doing things the right way and its refreshing to see. We are going to have ups and downs, probably more downs this season to be fair but changing a mentality of a whole club is not an easy thing to do and is going to take time.

Definitely, I find it worrying that even though we have just played 3 games in a week and taken 5 points, remained unbeaten and not lost to two teams around us, some people still can't see the progress we are making.

personally - taking all villa bias out of it - i thought it made him look a right knob..... he wouldnt have dont that to Duncan Ferguson I bet he would, you know. I dont think he would............ Will be really interesting to see where Richard Dunne fits into the team when he returns from injury. Vlaar for me is a far more acomplished defender and I can't imagine Dunne wanting to take instructions from him in the same way the younger lads are at the moment.

A very good performance to build on. I actually felt as emotional as I think I would if we had just won a cup final and the end of the game! Hopefully! The dark cloud is lifting.
