Same here. The 'good cop, bad cop' comment is neither here nor there. I imagine Lambert was bigging up Jack, and then Keane was saying about how he still needs to work on this and this. I think it's a little, cheeky 'pull your finger out and offer a contract' dig. That's how I interpreted it as well, hopefully this is sorted out soon, how could we possibly let one of the best prospects for many a year go? Makes no sense -

Would love to know what really went on behind the scenes here, loaning him out made no sense, surely he could have let Hutton go for free if he was told to get rid, Hutton is streets ahead of Lowton as a RB, nice to have him back.

Any chance he will make the squad for the season or is he best off getting more games out on loan? Haven't seen much of him tbh so am sure others know more on here...

This lad has been given more than enough chances, he isn't good enough for us and I wouldn't be unhappy to see him leave.

Holtby would be a fantastic signing, makes a change from signing Sylla and Helenius, some difference in transfer windows.

Lads let's call a spade a spade here he was fookin quality yesterday and never did I worry when they tried coming down his side, mucho respect for the way he has handled this whole thing, hopefully a lot more to come too.

He reads the game quite well which I was surprised with, positional sense was excellent yesterday, he doesn't have pace but not a lot of CB do nor do they rely on it, could be an important player for us this year.

We need a squad of players and he fits that nicely, no point selling unless significantly improving and I think that is quite difficult in today's market without paying silly money

A fine performance today and i was very happy every time stoke went down that side as he was extremely comfortable, CB covered well too when needed to, can't ask for much more than that, as I said earlier 3 points away at Stoke is hard earned and he deserves credit for the win he was excellent, up and down he did a job.

Nzogbia is playing well, why take him off? Grealish and Bent on for Gabby and Weimann would be my preference. He's not though, he has been poor in possession. He is comfortable on the ball and is the only one who can pick a killer pass, maybe it's my stream deceiving me!

After watching that first half it makes me wonder what really went on behind the scenes with Hutton, he looks really solid and working hard, hope he keeps it up.

Presume he is expected to start tmw yeah? We are kinda stuck with no other option at the minute unless weimann goes moves up top which is what I would like to see.

We couldn't compete with QPR's wages they offer and let's face it that's what most footballers come down to at the end of the day, I hate to say it but QPR look like they will have a strong side this season, they've done well in the transfer window.

Win a trophy, you having a laugh!? We haven't had those expectations for years, dunno why Lambert should be treated any differently, if he steadies the ship this year and we aren't lingering around relegation and are a solid side at home and play some decent football then I see no reason why he should be sacked, having said that there's a lot of if's in there!
