He has been getting better in recent weeks, but - like every other Villa player - he was absolute turd today.

We're finished. The devastating blows to both confidence and goal difference have combined to give us a 0% chance of survival. The players clearly never believed it. You could see that today. I haven't seen less effort in a Premier League game since - well, since Newcastle played yesterday. But we're even worse somehow.

I thought his attitude today was abhorrent, and I'm normally one of the commenters on here shooting down comments like that. But he walked everywhere. Pathetic. Get the **** out of this club.

I don't think Benitez was a success in English football overall. Liverpool were so much closer to the top in those days, they could have won the league with a different manager.

Neither Wilshere nor Delph should be anywhere near the squad, and I'm not completely sold on Milner either, although he has a better case. Dier, Alli, Drinkwater, Noble, Barkley - they all have good cases.

Hold on, whose mentality and desire? You were criticising my defeatism remember, not the players'. Otherwise, if your criticising the players' mentality, then I don't know why you took issue with my statement that the game is lost. It sounds like you agree.
