Well, I think it's a given that hardcore fans of the particular three departed presenters aren't going to be interested in this show, at least compared to their new show. There's absolutely nothing the BBC could have done about that. Beyond that, you're left with arguing that there shouldn't be a primetime motoring show on the BBC. Which I don't think is an argument many people want to make.
