Penalty aside you are correct, he didn't do anything. I've never seen a player so uncomfortable taking the ball with his back to goal, he can't turn, has to pass it backwards to turn around

Think it might be a case that when Gerrard spoke to a player, it's was a case of convincing a player to be part of his plans. When Unai speaks to a player it's them who must convince him that they are worthy of his plans

Very disappointed if nothing happens but saying that I'm glad we are not bringing players in for the sake of it. We have enough in this squad to stay up without any issues. We would have to invest a lot of money to have a real shot at European football. So I guess it's just a matter of Emery looking at what we have and identifying our biggest issues come the summer window

For me sterling is very similar to bailey, he has a run of games where he is brilliant and then he goes on a run of form where he is dreadful, don't think he is what we need right now. 28 years old sounds like he still has a lot of time left in him but players like him that bursts onto the scene playing at high level so young seem to get old very fast

Don't really want to get into this here as wrong thread but Bednarek could be our most pointless signing of all time, was just Gerrards complete disrespect of Mings that made this happen at all. No nothing of dembele since he left Celtic, he was brilliant there but so was edoaurd who has really struggled at palace
