Better than what Poland did - an official conference with all 55 names ready out and questions answered. I didn't even know Poland had 55 footballers and some rather exotic call ups. What's the point - the managers know their 25 people already, it's just a few 'maybes' at this point.

I think most people say the phrase with a good intention. It's lovable. Much less hostile than "yeah course" that we threw at Gerrard just because he was from Liverpool. I am a foreigner in this country, and my family all have funny accents. I've dealt with xenophobia and laughing at things I say, but this is not it in my opinion. It's a warm catchphrase, at least in my own intentions and views. But if you are not comfortable with it I get it. I just wouldn't be that harsh on it.

Don't you know that's a thing? No one could visit Paris or Berlin or Madrid when World Cups were played there unless they had a ticket. The cities were closed for 2 months. What a joke.

He wasn't back up, he played every game for the last 3 seasons and wanted to move this summer, hence they didn't play him.

I thought he was ok in a horrible team performance. When you have skilful well coached players attacking you all the time when you don't play for weeks you are going to be rusty. I thought that in circumstances he wasn't that bad.
