  1. Agree here, he is a little hit or miss. Though with confidence and experience, more hits
  2. I don't agree with this. He is strong, quick, brave, and very good 1v1 defensively. He had Coutinho in his pocket and was subbed at half time, did very well against Baines and even got forward and scored. I think right back is new to him, that's all. But he has so much potential. You must be watching a different player! He has poor positioning for a defender and he is rash. Against Liverpool from what I remember he was one of our worst performers. I don't agree with this. 4. I think when judging a manager you have to sometimes look at the players. Are the players he has, playing to their potential? Are they giving the team 100%. In my opinion I think the players ( apart from maybe CB at times) are all giving 100% and playing to their potential. They always do. The players he has bought (we are not buying class A eggs-omelettes) - some have been excellent and others not so good. But overall the buys have been good, Benteke, Vlaar, Okore, Bacuna. Gabby seems to be thriving too. Then there is the tactics. Counter attacking is definitely our best weapon. However, if he continues to play Holt I would like a new manager. ( seriously I can't watch this guy, he is doing my head in) I mean other teams have players like Hazard and Suarez and we have Holt. Even 3 years ago when he was more mobile I would have cringed if he played for us. But Lambert in my opinion is doing well.
  5. Yup Moses isn't as good as Grant Holt. Lol Bertrand is super though.
  6. You mean the same desire that Delfouneso, Moore etc showed. Having desire and showing desire are two different things. I hope you are right though. The talent is there.
  7. I think Lambert is waiting for the young lads to work their scones off and show they can hold their own. Anyone can see their talent but we dont have the luxery of talent alone, right now. Lazy players- Bent, Ireland have been discarded for hard working players a la Weimann and El Ahmadi. As soon as the youngsters show that desire they will be in. I'm pretty sure.
  8. For fans of FM My estimate of his skills Grant Holt Speed- 7 Intelligence-13 Strength-12 Shooting-9 Jump- 11 Head-11 Technique-10 Dribbling-5 Passing-8 Long shots -4 Positioning -12 Teamwork-9 Off the ball-6 Stamina-7 Creativity- 7 Would you buy this player?
  9. I bet he can't believe his luck. Playing in the premiership again. Absolute rubbish- offers nothing
  10. I 'd bring a midfield player on and push Weimann up alongside Benteke. Albrighton ability to run with ball will help on counter attack I'd like to see Albrighton in the middle Why would you want to see Albrighton play in a position he's never played in :-/ Think he might be good there. He can go past a man on both sides. Works hard pressing. I've always wanted to see if he could do it.

  12. I guarantee there won't be people saying Holt is an ok signing after this game
