    The points made about Collins are good ones, he is a very overated player, Wigan next week is a now an important game - do we have the bottle?

    McAliister has been a massive failure everywhere he has been as a Manager/Coach,what makes folk think he will change at VP? If the rumours are true that the players do not like him then he has no chance of getting anything out of them. Wigan will be a tough game and a defeat combined with bad results elsewhere will make for a panic stations last 2 games which we are likely to lose,we must win next week just in case.

    We cant take a gamble Fran, Lambert is likely to stay at Norwich for at least a season anyway if they go up which looks likely. Moyes is the man we should go all out for imo. O'Neill to replace him at Everton maybe!

    Not sure this lad is cut out for the PL, very slight and gives the ball away far too often,maybe better suited to Spanish/Italian or French league in a slower tempo.

    We need a modern day Manager who knows the Premier League ( Providing we stay up) Moyes,Coyle or Jol would be the best bets imo.

    General, I see your comments have been taken out of context again by the media. Everton is going to be a very tough game, I hope that the Board's support of GH pays off as a defeat up there will leave us on the floor.

    totally agree, as much as I would like to se him at VP,we won't get Coyle. The same goes for Moyes.

    I rather have Ringo Starr as Manager than Houllier so names like Mclaren, Jol, Hughton,Allardyce have to be better options.

    Martin Jol needs to be contacted and put in charge, he would have 2 weeks to get to know the players and get them up for the Everton game. Van Gaal and the likes would not come to Villa Park. Moyes or Coyle would be ideal Managers for us and also Paul Lambert but we are unlikely to get any of them atm.

    I cannot ever see Houllier being accepted by the players or the supporters. It is a bad situation all round and needs to be addressed by the Board as leaving things as they are is dragging the club down.

    General the atmosphere of the supporters around me is like 1986-87 all over again,it has the same feeling and we went down in that season. The Board needs to seriously look at GH before it is too late, Jol or Allardyce need to come in and salvage our season.

    The defensive problem including the Keeper has been there for over 12 months now,nothing has changed.

    He will be at the Club until the summer at least, then he will after sit down with the Board and discuss the future that is best for AVFC going forward.

    General, The FA Cup is a Trophy that Villa used to be famous for winning and no win since 1957 is long overdue, I hope you understand the fans frustrations. Gerard laughing & hugging Patrick Viera at the end of that game only rubs salt into the wounds.

    Bannan had his work cut out playing against 2 x 6ft 4 inch midfield Players Yaya Toure & Viera, that side last night was always going to struggle.

    Try looking at it this way, 10 years ago we paid £6 million for Balaban, a player that was unproven and unheard off in the Premier League. If you compare the 2 players then Paying £18 million for Bent is about right in todays market. A goalscorer will always cost you more money and be over inflated compared to other players, you have to pay premium rates.

    I think that it is fair to say that GH will be in charge until the end of the season, depending on circumstances it is likely to be reviewed then.

    I think that he is likely to be here until the summer at least unless we had 3 really bad results in our next 3 games,surely not even Randy would accept that? would he!

    Not sure that Randy will admit that the Board have got it wrong, But he needs to act before it is too late, the Championship is a strong possibility for us. we are not too big a club to go down, If he sticks by Houllier it will be a massive mistake and he will have to ponder lower crowds plus welcoming the Doncasters & Barnsleys etc to Villa Park next season.
