    General, Do you think that Villa will follow the GB Packers lead? Just my opinion but in PL football, too many veterans combined with Youth =relegation. English football & American football should not be compared playing wise. Your thoughts on that ?

    Correct,the Club are clearly feeling let down & rightly so.

    Some transfers can be complicated issues depending on clauses in players contracts, for instance if money owed is a dispute between the club/player and agent then it can take days to come to an agreement.

    I cant see Everton having the money /wages available for N'Zogbia. On Downing, that bloke is a major let down but he was lined up to go there 2 years ago and used us as a stepping stone after his foot injury.

    Maybe a case of ensuring we had the money in the bank first Steve. Perhaps other moves were dependant on him definately moving!

    Downing does not want to play for Villa......simple as!

    General, I know that you say that action speaks louder than words but would you just confirm to everyone that we will see some positive action soon, as reading this forum is making me depressed...I know stop reading it then.

    It is pointless making Downing stay if he wants to leave, Liverpool have set the mark though paying out £30 odd million for Carroll and now £20 million for Henderson so the Scousers can pay the same for Downing imo.

    Mc Leish should be judged on results alone, at least he wanted the job which is more than can be said about many other managers mentioned on here who did not have any intention of joining Aston Villa or any interest.

    The trouble is we have all posted on this site the Managers that we would like to see at Villa Park but in reality how many of them are actually interested in joining us? It appears that Mc Claren & Mc Leish are the only ones who were prepared to take the job on.

    It is Randy's club, he can do what he wants, If he feels Mc Leish is the best man for the job then as a true Villa supporter you should continue to support the team even if if you feel he is not the right man for the job. Results will determine the outcome if he takes over, it would be a massive gamble for Randy.

    Talksport reckon that Moyes will confirm that he is staying at Everton.

    I think that it is time to forget about David Moyes, as much as most Villa fans want to see him at Villa Park I cannot see Everton letting him go or Moyes actually saying he wants to come to Villa Park. This is a very depressing time to be a Villa Supporter.

    I do not think that Moyes would quit Everton, he may leave if they agreed to release him which Kenwright won't do.

    I would not be surprised at that. It may be nothing to do with Villa.
