There could be other reasons why McLeish quit the noses,why would he sign 2 players on Friday (King & Burke) and then resign on the Sunday? He might not even be in the Board's thoughts,still hope for Moyes but can't see it happening.

I don't see why Villa would have to wait for Everton to appoint a new manager before announcing Moyes. There has to be serious doubt about us getting Moyes more likely.

I think that McLeish would jump at the Villa job but after taking SHA down would that really be a good idea,I think not, it has to be Moyes or Hughes.

We will keep getting bad press until Villa hopefully appoint a decent manager,the fact the club are keeping stum is annoying the pressmen and they are biting back with the latest inaccurate bile written by Jim Holden of the Express.

Manchester City have now changed the PL and basically left it that 4 or 5 teams will be fighting it out for that last CL spot from now on, Arsenal,Spurs,Liverpool and anyone else who fancies pushing for it. So basically 7th place is not a bad position when you look at that competition, if we are around that pack every season I really don't mind, not long ago we were looking at possible relegation, we need a manager to keep us in the top 7 to begin with and maybe push for higher. Moyes or Hughes would be that man.

Some of the top foreign coaches mentioned on here is pointless, they will not come to a non CL side, McLeish is very unlikely. Realistcally we are left with Moyes,Hughes & Maybe Coyle.

It is the outcome what counts,providing the Board come up with the right manager the time does not matter, I am sure that within the next week they will have a man in place. Hopefully Moyes imo.

It does not look too promising atm but lets wait & see who the Board appoint as Manager before crucifying them. It is frustrating but we may yet still have the last laugh just as we did on the Blues getting relegated.

The original Mysteryman no longer gives out any information publicly and he was right when he said that McClaren would not get the job, He has not stated anywhere who will get the job. TBH nobody knows or has a clue.
