Because this time he would have good money for a replacement We don't need a replacement. He is solid. you don't get the point, we could sell buy a replacement and have cash spare to improve elsewhere

    7.5 with 6 months left would mean his value is 15m minimum of he had four years left on his contract. He is never a player worth that anything over 4 and your over paying and like others have said he is decent but no better than Westwood. An attacking midfielder of the same value would benefit us far more.

    Firstly after the last few posts don't be daft he can do better than us financially, medal wise and get into some of those teams. This replace Gerrard link I just read it and actually liked he is no where near his quality a good premier league player yes. One of England's five best in central midfield? Yes. But not his quality no where near it.

    I think weimann is a 4-4-2 player and would be very good up front with Benteke but no one plays 4-4-2 anymore as it leaves them over run in the days of 4-5-1

    Easiest question to answer ever... The previous seasons budgets were spent before January and this one has not. Many believe we agreed to buy Cleverly in the summer, the loan being for admin reason's. If true maybe we did spend our budget, whatever that is these days. He was waiting for Everton and we simply ran out of time to buy him so loaned him. We know we have money for that one simple fact. On the conjecture side of things we know we have money because we haven't spent our usual 15-20 m a season
