    I think it being called off is slightly wishfull thinking! If you look at this met office report, its only light snow, so my guess is the council will be able to deal with it!     Just relived at the three points to be honest. I do think the psychological side of things plays a massive part in closing games out, so hopefully no we have a win under our belts we can push on. Downings looking good this season by the way!!

    MOTD has always been biased towards certain teams. My missus said to me about us being third game before liverpool and arsenal, but it wasn't us they were showing third, it was blackpool!

    Great result, chuffed for Heskey, although we defo had our backs to the wall for large parts, but to grind out a result was superb, and Gwerrard made some substitutions!!!!

    Definatley need to win the midfield battle! If we get over run then we are likely to sit deeper and invite the pressure. Like so many I would say NRC in for Downing. Looking forward to it now!!

    Agree. To be honest I am absolutly gutted, that is a result that we totally did not deserve, now I am not saying we deserved to win it, but to lose like that is gauling! Stoke are such a bunch of dirty mo-fos, with the trip in the box of petrov in the first half a clear example, but to be fair it was so nice to watch us actuially play some quality football at times, we totally out classed them in footballing terms and with a manager with a bit more experience of that kind of pressure and able to make changes, I think we will smash 'em at VP! UTV
