    Because the fans have no patience and turn everything into a drama. It's been a day and a half / two days!! Quite. I had no idea this was in the offing until yesterday, and it seems as though it will be tied up today. How much quicker do you want it? Furthermore, for a record transfer fee! I think it seems to take longer because I have pretty much just watched SSN since the news broke!!

    I think you are right that he wants to come, the fact he submitted a transfer request following our initial contact speaks volumes! To me it also says a lot that, despite our league position, we are still an attractive proposition. Surely that is down to Randy and dare I say it GH?

    This is killing me, had the day of work 'cos i've got shit loads to do, however i find myself sat with SSN on, talksport on and flicking between here and newsnow!! Still a bit nervy, what with people talking about other clubs interested now or people talking about Sunderland stalling! UTV

    I am struggling to understand some of the negativity!?!? Over the last few weeks everyone has been, rightly, saying how we need a proven goal scorer, someone who can convert all the chances we create, stick it in the back of the net! We are now in a situation where the club are doing exactly that, I agree that it is probably a little more money than it needs to be, however, in our current situation, who is going to come to us with such a proven record?
