  1. Just wondering where you got this fact from?
  2. I'm just wondering who you think should have financial control of a GP's surgery? Is a GP employed for their financial skills? He isn't employed for his HR skills either but he probably has to employ people. but I didn't ask that. I asked who you think should do it?
  3. I'm just wondering who you think should have financial control of a GP's surgery?
  4. Without going in to the difficulties in the correlation of the two (union membership and wider public support), declining public support does not equal very little public support. yes you are right. but as I say, I would find it hard to believe that if one is falling the other wouldn't follw the same trend. That said, is it very little support, I dont know? but I believe it is falling.
  5. well I did a quick google and found on the FT website that unite has lost about 260,000 in the last 5 years. Now that report was 6 months old, but I doubt it could have risen by that much even at all. And their website banner suggests it hasn't risen at all
  6. Do you have any decent evidence to support that or is it just an anti-union prejudiced view? The way I see it is, as Union membership itself is falling, then it would be difficult for me to believe that support for unions amongst the general public, wouldn't follow the same trend.
  7. I think we are really underestimating them to be honest. Its their first real season in the first team. At a time when there is much upheavel and a lack of confidence throughout the team. I blame the last part on AM. If you think about it they have played at about the same level as Nzog or possibly milner in his first season. Sometimes they just need games under there belt
  8. Are bald men just Gingers on a witness protection scheme?
  9. Great series. I too thought it cant be that simple. Perhaps its that they do cut and run that keeps them fresh
  10. Well I think the title which translates as work makes. However the context of the phrase is undisputedly linked to concentration camps in Germany. It is particularly linked to Auschwitz 1. I'll wager there are few who dont link that phrase to Nazi Germany. To many, the phrase is as obnoxious as the N word. If you dont agree with the policy, fine. No need to link it to the Holocaust
  11. why dont we just get prudence back, she seemed to know what was going on
  12. Dont many places put up signs saying check your change, mistakes cannot be rectified after leaving the premises.
  13. meh, Oneil, he'd probably walk out 5 days before it started
  14. Yeah I read the article a while back. And realised as its Canadian it wasn't refering to The UK Conservative Party, but conservatism in general. The prejudice I was talking about was your statement that they all have a complete lack of understanding of what is right and correct.
  15. Seeing as millions voted for what is thought to be the right wing party and from different parts of the country, from different genders backgrounds and ethnicities. isn't that just a wee bit, well, prejudiced?
  16. Have a few pals in different legal posts, they all say the same thing, If you are good at it, work privately, if you aint work for either CPS or HMRC, at least you get a job
  17. "If friction causes heat, how many throbs of a Donkeys knob, does it take to boil a kettle" Mickey Franklin when asked by the ref what on earth he was thinking about, whilst playing for speedwell, South Birmingham league circa 1976 Still makes me smile
  18. Unless of course in the current climate where people hiding money and not paying tax, the bankers, the rich etc are all over the papers, They may want to set a precedent
  19. I dont think he has been that succesfull has he. I dont recall him winning much and he must have been a manager for about 30 years
  20. Sorry, I didnt get that far, someone came to the door. I guess there would be the other benefits, but it was a long winded form and I aint got the time to do it again
  21. I have just checked and it appears there would be no working tax credits if you earned £35k,
  22. I think this is one of the few times when this could be tackled. If any party tried it in boom years the other parties, regardless of whether they thought it was right or not, would just object to it as a vote catcher.
  23. So I am trying to imagine what your circumstances would have to be to qualify for more than £26,000 pa.
