I have long campaigned to get Pullis in at VP - I thought he was just what we needed at this point in time. Got to say though over the 2 games Albion were very poor - They backed off us far to much in the first game - handing us the imitative, then he brought Olson back for the 2nd game ? - Sure his front guys weren't 100% - but that was patched up Villa defence yesterday - I couldn't see Albion not scoring - but most of the chances they had came from our errors. Sure they have enough points to be safe - but looked a very poor team based on those 2 games...

I seriously think Lawrenson should refund his fee to the BBC for yesterday - how can you have a pundit who was supposed to give expert analysis, but gets everything wrong ? - they might just as well have an ordinary Joe of the street. Surely it can't just be me but IMO "Lawro' absolutely hates Villa. I have no idea why but he never has a good word for us and loves to 'predict' us losing. Ive always thought the same tbh, he hates us as does savage Lawrenson was a Liverpool player in the 80's - that why he hates us. The whole MOTD set up needs blowing away - it just Lineker and a load of scousers - sack the lot of em freshen it up a bit...

The worst decision - was when a cross come shot - bounced of an Albion player - blatanty changing the direction the ball was travelling - and the ref gave a goal kick - unbelievable. But clearly there were many contenders for worst decision 'yesterday' an absolutely dire performance from the referee - who got almost everything wrong

in a way its kind of more pleasing that the bounce kicks in after a couple of games - it could have been "Shit we have a new gaffer need to up my game" But now it looks like TS has had a look round - seen what's wrong - took steps to put it right

After a poor start Okore and Clark were giants........very good that such a patched up defense kept a clean sheet....

I know his summing up "over the 90 minutes villa just about deserved it" As I seen it - albion had a couple of early chances - and even those were gifts from our defence. We scored in the second half - then had a period where we were totally on fire ..... Easily the better side overall

Actually the police only operate outside - its the stewards job to keep order - there just weren't enough of them. I think most fans run on because they thought the final whistle had gone. Be interesting to see the reporting if Liverpool fans invade the pitch tomorrow.....
