  1. Hes fit - its TS mind games - relax folks
  2. Because if he drags the level of game to a grudge match we will win - if albion play a controlled park the bus game - that helps them. I reckon tommorow night will Sherwoods finest hour as a villa manager - I think we are overdue a night where everything clicks - its going to be an explosive night at VP - wouldn't be surprised if theres a few red cards - But most of all I am confident of a Villa victory ...Im not so confident it will be a prelude to better things......but convinced we will win tommorow - 3-0 Benteke Hat trick - Concrete Ron MOTM .......can't wait..... Yes Smetrov! Lets smash that shower of shite back to the black country where they belong. Its in the bag mate - I keep checking newsnow to see if they are bothering to play it - im not normally confident - but Im pretty much guaranteeing you you all a Villa victory tomorrow ... (17p to VT if we don't)

  4. Pretty sure it is unfortunately. If we can't beat Newcastle then we'll struggle to beat anyone. I think we will beat the baggies on Tuesday.
  5. Sherwood did hit the nail on head after yesterday. Lots of effort but not enough quality ...can he do anything about it though. I have a feeling we will beat the Albion though...
  6. His disastrous tenure suggests to me there is no hope for us in any division while he remains at the helm.
  7. Yep - Id also love it if Taylor Swift to sit on my face - I don't see either happening .....hold on though ...just had a text...... Tim would like to sit on your face? Don't knock until you've tried I suppose - it would make the 2014/5 season memorable for something other than relegation
  8. Yep - Id also love it if Taylor Swift sat on my face - I don't see either happening .....hold on though ...just had a text......
  9. Spot on my friend. Spot on. Tim Sherwood deserves to be given some slack and our full support. He has unfortunately inherited a very difficult situation due in part to his predecessor being given way too much slack and retaining support for way too long, by me included. It was highly optimistic and perhaps unrealistic to think he could quickly turn around a side that had been used to very negative tactics, whose first thought was a defensive one, had all the attacking intent drilled out of it and was prone to defensive errors. What I have seen in the first two games under Sherwood is an improvement game on game, plenty of attacking intent and plenty of heart and desire. I genuinely believe that improvement will continue and that he will come up with the right personnel in the formation that gets the best out of them. Whether he can do that in time to keep us up is up for debate but in his quest to do so he will get my full backing. If were relegated - do we stick with him ?
  10. Its Fox\Lerner for me. We don't know who makes the big decisions - but as Randy openly admits to not being a football expert Im going for fox because:- He sat on the fence - whilst Moyes and Pullis were available He appointed a novice manager in a relegation battle He sat on the fence so long - then even when he got Sherwood his coaching team had been employed elsewhere Sure Lerner aint great - but to see Pullis pulling up trees at the Albion - really brings home the gross mis management at Board Level - for all Lerners mistakes there was golden opportunity and IMO Tom Fox blew it - he has a lot of fans on here at the moment - I get the feeling though History won't be kind to Tom Fox
  11. Nope I m fearing the worst - but I haven't given up hope yet If you really want to worry - worry about the actions of Lerner and his board post relegation - that absolutely terrifies me...
  12. I see Lerner selling us for peanuts when the parachute payments stop
  13. I have no problem with Sherwood - I am sure he is doing his best I have real issues with those who saw him as the answer - and even then missed out on his coaching staff If your impressed with Tom Fox - fine - for me has got some massive and crucial calls 100% wrong - and I am sorry but at CEO level of a multi million business, you have to get those right, and are accountable if you get them wrong.
  14. I actually think the slow possession game ruined Benteke
  15. Thats precisley what galls me - it was so damm obvious - appoint a bloke for where we are now - not this 'Football Ethos' - we keep hearing about
  16. No Because he waited to long to axe Lambert Then he recruited a Novice Thats it...
  17. it was better today and v stoke - but its all huff and puff - there is very little controlled play. I don't think huff and puff will be enough at this level.
  18. Still everyones favourite CEO ? Thought he deserved a bump
  19. No chance imo. You clearly don't like him but I'm not sure why you'd think he would do that. Yes - Depends on his package - if there is some clause that we don't pay compo (or much) if we are relegated - he may just declare the club 'unmanageable' engineer an argument with the board - and walk....
  20. Tom Fox has an impressive CV But Ignoring pullis\moyes - standing by Lambert - then sacking him - then recruiting a total novice - those are absolutely unforgivable decisions - He can have zero credibility after those IMO
  21. Who might be available shortly. Im sure Tom Fox has his finger on the pulse re this
  22. Where as we have a youth team coach with a massive ego in charge. Look more closely - he wasn't youth team coach
