  1. The whole mobile gaming sector is so goddamned sleazy. It's got nothing about gaming, and everything about gouging
  2. It's not emulation, it's native How can it not be a form of emulation? As far as I'm aware, the Xbone doesn't include 360 hardware to run that stuff. MS said that devs don't need to do anything apart from submit their games for inclusion. I can't see MS doing ports for free and they haven't mentioned streaming. The only conclusion is that they're utilising a form of emulation on the executable unless I'm missing something here? Spencer specifically said it's native, and he knows a bit about hardware There's another one being developed
  3. A bloody awesome one though. Ill need to see a full list, but that's looking like the best retro collection ever... for $30
  4. Exactly, the only 'remaster' I was interested in was TLOU, that was because I hadn't played it and it had only come out a year earlier. If I wanted to play a 360 game, I'd get my 360 down from my loft. These old games have been half the reason this gen has been so poor. Thank God for the Witcher 3. Remasters and backwards compatibility aren't related though? It's there if you want it, and if you don't, you don't need to worry about it
  5. Tomb Raider doesn't really lend itself to the on-stage demo does it? The last one was excellent, and I'm sure this will be too, but this demo is dull
  6. It is for some, it's a value added for me really. I've got 4 Xbox 360s knocking around at this stage, this saves a HDMI port on the telly, and means I can keep the machines healthy for the future
  7. It's great, because it means devs will bundle old games with the new ones - ala fallout 3 with fallout 4, and r6 and r6 vegas with the new r6 On another note, Sony need a HUGE conference, because they're falling further and further behind right now
  8. People don't like EA, but EA Access is astonishing value for money. $35 for a year's sub, and 15 games (I think) available as part of that, it's genuinely crazy, and it's moving towards something very, very different for EA that I'm not supposed to know, and as far as I know, nobody outside the company knows. They're looking to move away from annual updates, and instead release a major sports game every 2 years, with a seasonal upgrade and patch coming after 12 months. I have no idea of time frame, but EA Access plays a big part in it
  9. Also, that controller. Sweet merciful mother... Do you think it was good or OTT? I quite liked it... It looked phenomenal Also... Dark Souls III
  10. You misunderstand If you own the disc, you can pop it into the console and play (if the game is supported). If you've bought the digital version and it's on your Xbox Live account, you can download and play it on the Xbox One. Absolutely identical to the way it works on Xbox 360, got nothing to do with deciding what games you own based on saves or anything like that. You either have the physical copy, or you own a license from buying on Xbox Live Also, that controller. Sweet merciful mother...
  11. Why? for example Huddlestone isn't going to gain an extra yard of pace at this stage of his career to not be a liability in any setup. We have done it with every manager before him and some have changed the style of play, I don't see why Sherwood should be any different; if anything it should be the opposite considering the lack of transfer market experience he has. We haven't signed Huddlestone. And of we do it'll be because he's being brought in to play a specific role the manager wants him for, like everyone rise he signs. At least wait to see what those roles are and how they do in it first
  12. I said it a while back, but whoever Tim wants to bring in we should wait to see how they perform in a villa jersey before making any judgements. He knows how he ultimately wants his villa to play, we don't, and he'll know the kind of players he needs to make it happen. I'm not going to, and I don't think anyone else should, preemptively rubbish any signings before they play and we see what he's got in mind
  13. I ftp a lot of work stuff overnight. Plus the fact that Sony won't just let us plug in an external hard drive like you can do on Xbox One and Wii U is nonsensical. Literally since my PS4 HDD filled up I've been requesting Xbox One copies instead of PS4 for all reviews, and have turned the PS4 on just a handful of times, such is my irritation level
  14. just because wasnt linked doesnt mean their wasnt interest And just because someone is linked doesnt mean there is
  15. They're deals done in principal, but the registrations aren't transferred until July 1st I think
  16. Technically, nobody can be bought or sold until July 1st. Maybe they're expecting it to be done by then?
  17. Yeah I think people like it when Newcastle are dire for the lol factor. Not so much with us or Sunderland since we're expected by everyone to play rubbish football, score bugger all goals, and still stay up by the skin of our teeth
  18. football doesnt exactly work like that. Such a simplistic view the way you think its transferable. Its like saying Darrel Bent would have been a 35+ goal striker in his peak for arsenal because he scored over 20 goal in a season for a shit team. Amazing they decided to not pursue such a goal return.... It's not exactly transferable but you'd expect he could at least match his 1 in 2 record at a club like Chelsea and have a Drogbaesque career. He's played in the premier league and we know he can handle premier league defences. The reason he's got 1 in 2 for us is that we're build around him. That's easy to do when he's your only top class player, but a lot harder to do when he's slotting into a team of similarly important players. The only way he goes somewhere major and continues that form is if he's a ready made replacement for someone else and nothing has to change in the team's formation or style to get the most out of him Worked alright with Baros for Carew
  19. Yup, us and Sunderland - two teams that add nothing for the neutral
  20. Can only really see a season long loan somewhere to get him out of the club. Of course, since this is the last year of his contract it might be worth keeping him, though, given that he only actually plays when a deal is up for renewal
