    New manager

we sort of do though, Cowans is still employed by the club and think Delaney was coaching a few years back plus have Taylor, Hendrie and until recently Collymore doing other stuff Very true Zatman just putting it out there I'd be happy if the new manager found a space for Yorke if required. Though I'm not advocating doing it for the sake of it and wouldn't want it foisted upon a manager either.

    New manager

I'd like villa old boys being part of the set up, be it youth or first team. Like what Ajax have done. Yorke may be a clearing in the woods in some posters eyes and that's fair enough, but he gave me some of my favourite ever memories of being a villa fan and would welcome his appointment in a relevant role.
  3. Play to our strengths would be a good start. Playing Gestede but without wingers or wide players whipping the ball in was one of the litany of errors sherwood made. Don't throw your players under a bus at the earliest possible moment. Dont admit you have no effing idea and come out to post match interviews looking like you are going to cry when your mistakes were the main contributing factor. Dont pick a back for which would of been shoddy 5 years ago yet alone today. Drop the right players at the right time. How come Lescott keeps his place when being shit at the expense of Ckark. He has cost us more goals than Amavi has . Support your keeper and publicly give him confidence even if he needs replacing. Dont needlessly change the shape of the team to gift the opposition the momentum back. Give players time to adapt by consistent selections and as much as possible formations. Remember if a player doesn't perform in the first 10 games he isn't a write off.
  4. As I wrote in the new manager thread I think we will be ok as long as we do not see a back 4 of.... Hutton. Richards. Lescott. Richardson Ever ever again, that would of been a shit back 4 in 2010 let alone now. Richards. Okore/Ilori. Clark. Amavi. from now on please. We still have 28 games so as long as we appoint a manager who knows how to utilise the squad we have to its full potential we have plenty of time to turn things around

    New manager

Hopefully if it is Garde we will never see a back 4 of.... Hutton. Richards. Lescott. Richardson ever ever again. That back line would of been shit 5 seasons ago, let alone now. Hopefully we will see something like this. Richards. Okore/illori Clark Amavi

    New manager

Remi garde vincenzo montella Murat takin jurgen klinnsmann David moyes the brodge bob Bradley gary rowett Any of the above in no order if preference No to.... redknapp pearson and anyone else not on my list. I'd be happy for Yorke to be part of a back room staff.
  7. Go On Tim help a friend in need www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34564609 Swindon Town: Mark Cooper leaves League One club Swindon Town have parted company with manager Mark Cooper. The League One side's chairman Lee Power will take over on a temporary basis, reports BBC Radio Wiltshire. Swindon confirmed Cooper's departure after Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Millwall - their eighth successive game without victory. The Robins are 20th in the table, above the relegation zone only on goal difference and without a win since 5 September. Cooper had been in charge since August 2013, guiding the club to the play-offs last season where they lost 4-0 to Preston in the final. A job at his managerial skill level.
  8. His confidence is shot. Sherwood hung him out to dry in my opinion by dropping him after Citeh last season and by not backing him as his number 1 in the summer until it became apparent he couldn't replace him. Even if we were looking, he should of been bigging brad up as confidence is critical for a GK.
  9. Nicked from TBAR gots to laugh. .
  10. Too busy discussing Klopp yep MOTD is going to be a klopp plop wankfest for sure well tbf, tim sherwood doing shite at villa is about as interesting to the rest of the world as tim sherwood doing good at villa. Nobody gives a shit. Agreed it saddens me how irrelevant we have become
  11. Too busy discussing Klopp yep MOTD is going to be a klopp plop wankfest for sure
  12. I actually have at length, and she just stared st me like a confused dog.
  13. I think after Swansea. I am so confused! I just wish a magician would come and fix our club. We don't need a magician in my opinion we just need a better manager with a clear vision and who sticks by it. I think he has never recovered from our thrashing st Southampton and maybe never will. We need a new owner for sure , but for that to happen we need a viable purchaser to step up. That's why I won't blame Lerner for this seasons wows. Previous seasons yes.
  14. plastic man I wouldn't go to the mods behind your back and accuse you of posting for effect I'll call you out on her so you can see. FairPlay for admitting the mistake in your post though. I admire that. I don't want to continue to debate you as that isn't fair. Let's keep it to our, in my own opinion our out of depth ineffectual manager. UTV
  15. I resent that. I'm just as much a Villa fan as anyone. I don't especially "support" Tim. I just don't like what I consider the unwise move to change managers at this time. And that horrendously extremist position is apparently a kind of trolling now. EDIT: Oh, I see you've posted the troll art. Nice. can you blame me though there are ways and means to get points across in a considered manner but you seem to be intent on being provacative for effect. How has Tim been put in an impossible position ? How did you come to the conclusion that most supporters think that? And how after 8 games with ineffective substitutions and dubious selections with no apparent direction from Tim do you think it's the players not the manager who isn't up for the job ?
  16. Are you related to Tim ? You seem to support the manager more than the team. I don't mean to single you out as we are entitled to different views but come on. Seriously
  17. Ooops sorry missed that ( had a day off villatalk ) bet it will be interesting reading.
  18. Still 90 points available so I'm not worried yet about relegation. We have half a new squad, most with no prem experience with potentially the wrong manager in charge but only 8 games in so luckily we have plenty of time to turn things around. With Fox calling the shots rather than Faulkner and the riches at stake I don't think Tim will be around much longer if his excuses and our poor form continue. Surely with the right man in charge our squad can muster 40+ plus points ?
  19. For me it smacks of him getting his excuses out there as he knows the end is nigh. He is trying to salvage his reputation with the Not my sigingings not my fault excuse. Self preservation. Gunna throw a grenade out there as no game to moan about. O'neil back job share with Ireland till the summer ?? Personally I wouldn't want him near the club ever again, but given our position, lack of obvious candidates I'm interested in what peeps thoughts would be.
  20. Wilson is classed as a 'wonderkid' on FM15. Granted it is just a computer game but they do extensive research on player attributes which sky sports news have even been using to compare players this window. Sign him up ! (hopefully with a clause to buy) Ayew, Wilson, Gestede, Oulare with Sinclair in support would give us a good range of options, however all unproven bar Sinclair so could go tots up
  21. Oulare & Lescott would round the window off nicely. Don't know much about Wilson is he supposed to be the next big thing? Room for him and Oulare or is that being greedy ?
  22. Could turn out to be an inspired signing, and great for someone like Easah Suliman to learn from for 2 the next two seasons or so. Rather Suliman learned from Lescott rather than Clark to be perfectly honest.
  23. Someone I was talking to last night suggested it would be a good thing to spend a proportion if next seasons TV money now and go for it this summer as the Euro to pound ratio is massivley in our favour at the moment and also before prices inevitably rocket when the extra Sky millions from the latest Tv deal. If we didn't do that the pot must be almost empty if not already after Adama Traore. I feel we are just one one or two short still. Hopefully we can somehow sell all of the following: Senderos, Bennett, Richardson, N'zogbia, Kozak, possibly Gil to create some funds and try for Lescott and to continue the dream summer Embolo or Oulare. Would love Praet also. Berahino is probabally a step too far this summer, hope he stays does ok and we can try for him next summer.
  24. Is this an open question to debate or a juicy bit of ITK?
