  1. Do all of your posts have to include something about a white person beating up a black/asian person or the BNP?
  2. Bent has scored loads lately hasn't he? Sunderland are struggling though, so it's probably fair to say he's not been getting the service. But check his record, he's scored goals where ever he's been. He'd do well here with service from the likes of Young, Downing, Milner etc. Sunderland won't go down though. We should have gone for Bent in the summer, that boats well and truely sailed now. We may need to look overseas for a forward
  3. Don't think we'd be able to get a world class player to join us, and I don't think we need one really. We badly need a goalscorer, someone like Jermaine Defoe, he's not world class, but someone like that is what we need to help us break into the top four. We're not far off now, if we could get someone that could give us 15/20 goals a season, someone clinical that would give us that cutting edge we lack at the moment, we'd be in there.
  4. Richard Dunne's mistake - Such a shame because he made such a brilliant recovery tackle but the ball just didn't bounce for him and feel straight to the feet of a United player.
  5. I'd say that was the problem, too much of the ball being held up, and not enough heading towards goal.
  6. Just because it was a red doesnt mean we were robbed. We wouldn't necessarily have gone on to win and its often more difficult to play again 10 men, as we found out as gainst them at Villa Park in the league a few weeks back. It was too easy for United, we very rarely looked threatening. Yes but it was a central defender. We saw Blackburn collapse at VP when Samba was sent off and Manure would've had to take a midfielder off to bring on another defender so they'd have lost the midfield dominance. And they'd have needed to score with 10 men so played right into our hands. I don't think United would collapse like that, especially with Rooney on the field aswell, they'd still have been a massive threat, and it's often harder playing against a team that has just had a player sent off. Vidic should have gone, fair enough, but I think it's being used as a bit of an excuse and almost as if had Dowd shown him the red, we'd have gone on to win! We could have played for another 90 minutes yesterday and we probably still wouldnt have scored against them with 11. We made it easy for them, evening during spells during the first and second periods where we had a lot of the ball, we didn't look threatening.

  8. Yea, brilliant. Brilliant stadium. Could be more pubs around the ground. Please with seats aswell. Directly behind the goal, second row back. If you look on BBC Sport at the images from the game, the Michael Owen goal, i'm just out of shot by one person!
  9. I've not seen it since I got back, but I don't feel robbed. United with 10 would probably have proved harder to beat than 11, as we found out at Villa Park. So it wouldn't necessarily of made our job any easier. A few United chellenges did go unpunished, whereas similar tackles made by our players got a yellow. Think it was in the first half when Downing took down Park - yellow. Straight up the other end, Carrikc takes down Heskey, free-kick, no card. That was an easy win for them today, could have been more, we rarely threatened.
  10. You can say that again, he was absolute gash today. Luke Young in. He's a good defender, but thats it/ He's got no pace and his distribution is terrible. I lost count the number of times he had the chance to put a ball into the box but ended up just slicing it out of play.
  11. Your ticket should say Birmingham Stations, so you can go from either Moor Street or Snow Hill. I booked for Moor Street but the trains go to Snow Hill first, so you've got a better chance of getting on if you go Snow Hill, which is what i'll be doing. Mind you, trains will probably be rammed anyway when they arrive at Snow Hill. At least no changes and direct to Wembley.
  12. Your on the same train as me and quite a few others... what time does your's depart? To answer your questions... yes you can depart from either Moor Street or Snow Hill station in Birmingham and.. as far as i'm aware we will have to change once to get on a different line into Wembley Station. But if we don't.. hey-ho, even better! Seeing as our tickets can be used at either Snow Hill or Moor Street, i'm going to go to Snow Hill, thats where it starts and moves onto Moor Street afterwards. Better chance of getting on and even getting a seat that way!
  13. What about return? Same as mine but different times? Same as yours mate! Sound - Thought i'd **** it up for a minute

But if we don't.. hey-ho, even better! Not sure mate. Although I selected a time when I booked online, I think you can leave when you want because its off peak. Just checked my ticket aswell, no time on there. I want to get there with a bit of time to spare, take it all in like Yours change at Gerrards Cross too? 4 of us have got them tickets, we are getting the 9:13 train from moor st straight to marylebone, then onto wembley about 1ish When I booked it said change at Gerrards Cross :? Maybe we have different tickets? Just checked confirmation e-mail. Depart 10.43 B'ham Moor Street - 12.36 Gerrards Cross 12.48 Gerrards Cross - 13.01 Wembley Stadium Return 19.09 Wembley Stadium - 19.57 Princes Risborough 20.07 Princes Risborough 21.40 B'ham Moor Street

  17. Bought two Super Off Peak returns with Chiltern from Moor Street. According to their website they'll be running extra trains from Snow Hill. Received tickets and they say from Birmingham Stations to Wembley Stadium, so is it possible to leave from either Moor Street or Snow Hill? Also, I don't know whether this is true but I've heard that if you catch the train to Wembley after 9.15am on the day of the final from Moor Street, it's direct to Wembley, and no change. When I booked online it said one change, at Gerrards Cross. Anyone else come across this?
  18. I'd get rid in the summer, he's shot. Injuries have really caught up with him, never seems to be fit anymore. We need someone thats going to score goals and be able to play a full 90 minutes, at the minute we've got Heskey playing one half, then Carew the next!
  19. Who cares, can't beat seeing the Welsh getting battered.
  20. Sir Jack said tonight NRC is out for at least 2 months BTW. He's had a niggling injury apparently ALL season, which has not helped. Oh right. I didnt know that Jules. You're right in my opinion, it's pretty obvious they no longer get on. There have been a few occassions this season where our games have been crying out for a player like Reo-Coker, but instead he's thrown on Sidwell or Delph It's almost as if he only uses him when he has to, when Petrov is injured because he's vice captain. Either sell him, or start using him!
  21. 90-100% for me. Just wish O'Neill would be a bit more proactive/ambitious in the transfer market.
  22. Hmmm, I don't know. Bollocks to Liverpool. The last thing we want is our small time neighbours reaching a cup final, we'd never hear the end of it! But then again, it could potential send Liverpool into financial meltdown if they miss out on europe? It's a tough one 8)
