In a heartbeat. Not because I like them - 'cause I **** don't - but so I can get the **** out of there ASAP and onto a better team with more wonga on offer. Yes, I can be mercenary at times. Once my family and I were financially secure for ever I'd engineer a move to VP and even pay Randy and MON for the privilege!

Mrs WalmleyVilla and I go there every couple of months or so and we both really like it. Reasonable value for money, food always well cooked and service is really quick (never had to wait more than five minutes for our meals). We've always found the staff there to be polite and courteous as well (in the Fort and Solihull anyway - can't speak for the others). FWIW I can only manage the medium sauce nowadays. Anything stronger and I get the two-bob bits!

When I lived in Brighton in the 80's I nearly knocked Gordon Jackson (actor, Mr Hudson in Upstairs, Downstairs and Cowley in The Professionals - sadly no longer with us) off his feet in the street. Don't know if this can be classed as a rubbish claim to fame or I've bumped (literally) into a celebrity.

Many thanks, General, for taking the time to speak to us. I doubt if any of the previous regime knew what that internet thingy is! Many thanks as well for starting the turn around of our great club so quickly. Everything that you and Randy and the rest of the board has done is for the good of the club as a whole. Here's to Aston Villa becoming a global brand. Keep up the great work!
