Spiral is amazing!!!! I love how in french they say "le gang bang" or sometimes when they solve a case "yessssssssssssssssss" Judge Roban looks like Arsene Wenger. All in all, a solid series!!!! I just started watching The Good Wife, quality as well. Chicago Code is freaking awesome, same guy who did The Unit (anyone remember that classic?), Shawn Ryan.

Heheeeeeeeeeeeee! I have never been so full in my life. The area was, to my surprise, not shady at all. We walked a few blocks from Al Faisals to Heavenly Desserts without incident. Can't believe I've lived here nearly a year and hadn't been yet!! What a hidden gem! If you are a dessert person, which usually I'm not, I HIGHLY recommend Heavenly Desserts. All they do is dessert and they are AMAZING!

Al Faisals was really good!! 68 pounds for 6 people, soooo cheap. After we walked to Heavenly Desserts- INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cab was 10 each way for a big cab for 6 people. Solid night. I'm still full!!

I'm finally going to the Balti Triangle tonight with some friends. I think we'll just all get in a taxi, shouldn't be more than 10 pounds. Al Fraisals is good then? How exactly does it work? You choose a restaurant and have a sit down kinda meal or you just walk up and buy something and walk around??? Never been before. If it's sit down, lots of places aren't licensed...so is there a liquor store there or should we just buy our booze before we head out? Thanks guys!! Oh, don't know who mentioned Asha's on Newhall st., but it's excellent. Also try JoJoLapa which is Nepalese, excellent!!! Jojolapa is just further down Newhall St, on the right hand side in a cool white building. Yep, I had an excellent meal with the girlfriend. Cheap as chips and very very tasty. Also, there is an offie beside the restaurant so grabbed a few cans in there before we went in... She had wine which they corked for her free of charge... I would recommend it to anybody going that way anyway! Excited for my first Balti Triangle visit! I'll post a post game report after!!

Around March I heard that even though Gabby signed a new deal...it's just to get value if he's sold as well. 99.9999% Young is gone, 75%+ Downing gone this summer (next if we don't get CL like Ashley now). Maradona, one thing I learned over the past season and a half is that players care about themselves, money, fame and the team....usually in that order. It's sad, but as I hear about some of the things said and done by OUR players...., my innocent and naive thoughts about sport begin to change. It's a business and the players are huge earners who get advice from people who all have their own personal angle...etc. Comments to the press about great club, history, the fans...etc. are usually pr. I've never met Downing personally. But if the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, he's a #$%#$^#$^ His dad seemed like a real piece of trash. Like I said before, he's gone if a good offer (to Downing not to the club) comes in. If not, he'll get a pay raise. What a friggin world!!!!!

OK, I've been giving this a lot of thought over the past day or two. I really like the idea of signing Roberto Martinez to be our next Manager. He's young and hungry. 37 years old, could be a great manager of Villa for a long time. He's done a lot with a very poor, talent wise, Wigan side. That club isn't going to spend and basically he's taken them as far as he can....fighting off relegation. This would be a new challenge for him. He has a proven track record in his short career. He could bring along Al-Habsi and N-Zogbia too, I wouldn't mind them. Sure, we'd have to pay a couple million in compensation, but I really think he'd be a good choice. Seems like a genuinely great guy and puts everything he's got into coaching. There, i've said it. Martinez for manager.

Congratulations VillaEire!! i think the proper reality only hits you (the man) when the baby is born... and then you don't sleep for the next year! my wife is 14 weeks pregnant with baby no2, and our first child is now 18 months old. 1st one was hard enough, not sure how we'll come with 2 at the same time! Congrats guys!! My wife is 15 weeks pregnant with our first. I'm soooooo excited. I wish tomorrow was Nov 21st! Is Carlos going to be the godfather? :winkold: Hehehe. Actually when I told him the good news he was really excited and said if it's a boy it'll have to have a Villa tryout ASAP! I like the name Carlos, because we'd like to give the baby a Spanish name...but that'd be a bit too homo-obsessed! Another downside to giving it a Spanish name is that it'd get mispronounced and the kid would get made fun of big time!!!
