  1. Never even knew that. I suppose it's the gas in them or something.
  2. Been watching it for 3 hours or so, not good, not good at all. No fire alarms to speak of with wild rumours all over the place. One stage thing is a guy called in and said his neighbour woke him on floor 4 and said his Fridge had exploded, is that even possible ? Also, a Councillor spoke about peoples ongoing concerns regarding placing older residents high up in these buildings, if there is no lift there is now way for these people to go down 20 + floors in the dark. This seems a fair concern the council knew about but it just had a 1 m+ refurbishment so, this needs to be signed off by someone as safe ?
  3. Maybe this long term outlook could be the very thing that strangles the Tories, just over quite a long time. As the bucket starts to overflow and said contents of bucket live longer this will ultimately need to be paid for by the old people themselves somewhere along the line and I suppose (not sure about this part) this could ultimately lead to some sort of unplanned distribution of wealth that Tory voters would never vote for but due to increases numbers there really is no choice. I think they have no choice but to spend it on care as they all will live longer with forever more complex and expensive needs I would guess ? Wat I mean is the older vote will kill you in the end ?
  4. This bit specifically is utter BS. The valuation they gave you on your car wasn't contingent on a set date of the final transaction, even if it were you aren't extending the period or delaying the purchase. So I'd tell him they are in breach of your contract in which case you consider the agreement void and you will expect he full return of your deposit. They usually only ever get in a panic if it is to do with commission, that and that only with virtually no exceptions. As for depreciation on cars, madness, never heard of it in my live because you were late. You end up getting book value for your motor no matter what in the end IMO, they might give you a bit more for yours but give you less discount on the new one. rocket polishers. T That's why if you go first with no part-ex and get the very best price on a new one and then go the next day and talk to someone in that showroom with a half decent part-ex and see what happens. They are not happy with this one as the part ex messes up the other price from yesterday. (as that was the very best they could do, after going to the back of the showroom to ask the manager for just a little bit more off, there are not doing this btw) I worked in car showrooms a lot (various) when I was younger.
  5. Thanks. Well, I get told off for making things up so I thought I would ask this time It's my newest life policy.
  6. I don't know what that means ? Is that good or bad ?
  7. The newspapers influence reduces everyday I would guess. People have worked them out I think and even the most horrid Tory must be embarrassed to pick up the Daly Mail, maybe they wrap it up in Razzle these days ?
  8. There is something in the Newspaper thing I think. I never see young people reading papers these days and it's seems there is a certain type of voter who, no matter what, does what their newspaper orders them to do. These people reduce in total every day though as time catches up with them and the Tory vote decreases. The 65+ vote is amazing.
  9. Or maybe they take there own folding camp site type seats and sit just inside the door or sit with everyone else but only look at the ceiling, something of that ilk anyway. They have calmed down considerably to be fair.
  10. Agreed and no matter how hard I try, can you really imagine Gerry sitting in there ?
  11. Can't see that ever happening but I said that about Trump and Brexit...
  12. Washing hair with washing up liquid ? Hiding in your dad's coat and getting in the Villa for free. Looking back I think the Turnstile people knew kids were sneaking in but my dad always tried it. Approx 1977 - 1979.
  13. It was a sarcastic comment from myself to be honest. They are not innocents in their eyes I suspect, probably the opposite. We can add the ill and disabled to that list as well for completeness.
  14. It will be the Government, if you get N.I. wrong people die. Simple as that I suppose and even a Tory would not cause the deaths of innocents. The Tories are funny though, go East, can't get a grip of the whole Europe thing, so go West to N.I and this seems problematic also for them. It's like nobody likes them or something. As an aside, would it not be better for everyone if the Conservatives split the party into 2 ?
  15. Yep, its still really popular. The new baby thing is actually pink or blue rice bready type things about the size of a crumpet. They just get 100's and 1000's and put it on Bread FFS. Sick, sick population. On the other hand they are the tallest nation in the world with hardly any fatties to speak of and the happiest kids in Europe so I dunno.
  16. House of cards for real, one wrong move and it will all tumble down. There will be a request about the Flag in N.I as well. It should be flown 24/7 as it is British ground ffs but it is going to be reduced, mediate that then Mrs May or don't get the votes. The little things in N.I as we know are the items that cause some of the biggest problems. Marches / Flag's are just what they want to talk about at the moment. It is hysterically funny in a way. She is the Mr. Bean of politics.
  17. I thought it was totally made up so I was having a guess at the possible meaning. Not that far away amazingly enough.
  18. "A man-made satellite or similar upper atmospheric craft (Usually unmanned) that is currently in or about to enter "Pre-Order-Stage" or "Early-access-Stage" with all post launch D.L.C actions now completed." OR "A man (or woman) who enthusiastically engages in high level domestic violence whist travelling from room to room within the dwelling making sure to "Mark" each room visit with some sort of abrasion or damage to the furniture and/or partner therein"
  19. I am sticking to my guns, I am convinced all is not well in her head. Her answers to seemingly simple questions cause her head to cave in mentally and her face can't lie even if her mouth can't help it. She is not self aware in that her answers are so, so shit and make so little sense in any other job her sanity would be questioned on an hourly basis. Question: Did you think about resigning ? Answer: I was busy thinking about my colleagues who lost their seats. My granddaughter does this and she is 4 years old. Question: Did you eat all the biscuits ? Answer: Shall we take the dog to the beech granddad ? She has no clue and should never be put in front of the camera. If she had turned up to the debate's from what I know now I think they would now be in a minority to Labour so now we know why she was not there. She might also have a touch of Munchhausen's by proxy, in that everyone near her looks proper ill, her fella as nice as he is, looks like he is permanently auditing for the job as "The Forger". He is just waiting for the big call and the right war film re-boot to come along.
  20. A cold, cold winter could help in terms of demographics in some close seats.
  21. I bet it was the very, very worst 2 weeks in a caravan that you can ever remember ? I suppose it was the like the elation of your letter being chosen and then the utter devastation of 2 weeks in Rhyl, in February and it was well cold. I think we spoke about it before, recently anyway and you said the caravan site was "Well Posh", well I have a surprise for you. We have translated the Latin tattoo you have on your arse into English and it say's "If the caravan's a rocking, don't come a knock-in J&R". Do you know what that could mean ? Do you even know when you had it done ?
  22. That's what I thought as well. Saying that, I wrote a letter to "Jim 'll fix it" so what can you do.
  23. There was an Asian bloke on Mock the Week last night, my 4 year granddaughter is funnier than him, as am I, as is everyone else on VT. He was shit and got paid for it. Even the panelists didn't laugh which is a very bad sign.
