  1. Not at the same level. Also, many Americans don't want to support a bullshit league like MLS
  2. Wouldn't training with the youth for a time be a logical way to get up to speed after rupturing your freaking achilles?
  3. But he didn't really contact the player. I've seen those given, but that doesn't mean it's a penalty. He started to go in rashly but managed to pull himself back.
  4. Is this a serious comment? I feel like I'm going to feel dumb for missing the sarcasm later.
  5. That was a penalty? If there was any contact, it was very slight.
  6. Bradley is definitely good enough for villa. He stood out in Serie A.
  7. This isn't really something I often wonder, but I've been thinking about it a ton tonight. I was in a car with some friends, and 10 minutes after they dropped me off at my house, they got cut off by a drunk driver and their car flipped. Now, they're all mostly okay, it was mostly just cuts and one got a concussion, but it made me think about how quick everything can end. We spend years going through school, working, saving for retirement, etc, all this stuff partially to help for the future, but in an instant all of the work you've done, all the things you've thought about, all the effort you've put into everything can be ended without any prior warning. Just seems kinda crazy to me.
  8. No one is happier than Samir Nasri right now.
  9. They already got Sagna for rb cover. Also, why would they need another striker? Actually, there was just an article that they don't want nastasic to leave. Makes sense.
  10. Seems they're trying to sell nastasic. Also, everything I've read seems to say that it's an either or on benatia and mangala, not that they're buying both.
  11. And Guzan was goalkeeper for a horrid defense two seasons ago. If everything around you is shit, you can't do that much about it.
  12. Gardner making it would be genuinely awesome. Coming back from injuries is no fun at all, nevermind serious injuries like he suffered.
  13. C'mon, Robben is a diver. That's an indisputable fact. I really have no issue with diving, if I played I'd dive as well to help the team win, but Robben dives. All the time.
  14. What Suarez did isn't as bad as some of the elbows throne by players, or nasty tackles made by some. It's just rarer and weirder, so it gets a more extreme reaction. For instance, compare his bite to the tackle by Ramires on El Ahmadi. Ramires had vicious intent to seriously injure el ahmadi. Yet there was no outrage and Ramires only got a three game ban. How is he good not great? He scored 31 goals last year WITHOUT being his teams penalty taker and while missing the first five games. No one else does that.
  15. Is he on a free? No, but he plays in Hungary.
  16. This is the most dissapointed I can remember feeling about a sports game since blackburn vs Wigan when rovers were relegated. Wanted bosnia to go far, especially with the bad decision.
  17. Of all the people to scuff that last effort. Wow. Feel really bad for bosnia. That would've been an unbelievable end to the match.
  18. Yep. They usually err on the side of offside as well.
  19. He owns the sixers (who I support) Seems to be doing the right things so far.
  20. That's so hard to call though. When a defender is stepping up and the attacker is making the run forward as the ball is played, it's near impossible to tell.
  21. That goal ruled out for offside was unbelievably important.
  22. He didn't grab him. The defender gets the call just by falling too much in that situation. But that offsides on dzeko was brutal. Toughest decision to make, but damn
  23. But England is as good as uruguay everywhere but striker. Actually, probably better. The finishing just let England down, and a Gerrard screw up.
  24. But they played a far better team too.
