  1. I think we will see some movement on Cantwell and JWP once Grealish is formalised.
  2. This guy. Read the thread. He was about an hour ahead on Ings than everyone else yesterday. Read his tweets, he seems to know someone who is in 'the circle of trust'
  3. Guy on Twitter who seems to be informed claims we had a bid accepted yesterday. If we get him for £25m (out of contract next summer), that would be very good business I think? Certainly leaves money for a very decent CM/DM
  4. There’s 3 or 4 who are mysteriously and conveniently synchronistic with activity and deals, I would say they are legit, I think whispers is one, but his tweets are a crazy/confusing/cryptic read
  5. No idea, but seems confident a deal can be closed (as do a few others out there tonight)? but this fella knows his stuff and said:
  6. Confirmation that we are moving on Ings. He suggested after this fee agreed at least.
  7. But they would improve the squad, and are all younger than Grealish with growth potential. We looked poor (and vulnerable) without Grealish last season because the depth of quality in the squad is poor. We need patience and planning to build that. But we can buy 2 or 3 very good players now.
  8. Agree, we have to end this selling club mentality for a good few seasons. We have the momentum, but it needs to be kept up. I know all teams basically are vulnerable to the very best coming in, but we just need to get to a position where we are an equal. I think really only have Man City or a few abroad, I am not sure Chelsea or Liverpool are much more attractive as they could ultimately ultimately our direct rival soon if we plan and spend well.
  9. If you listen to The Holy Trinity on YouTube (which is incidentally excellent), the host Pete pretty firmly and convincingly made a case for exactly why we would hang-on to Grealish and not buy Tammy or Ings. Its not been a good week for "Pete the Canadian"!
  10. Still not letting go though? Thats like stalking your ex-wife after she ran off with a hunky neighbour. Its just not right and unhealthy for you sir. I actually feel the club can now spread it wings, the whole Jack-worship was beginning to get on my t*ts. [Tony Daley was my first love, you'll get over it ]
  11. We could do a lot worse, but Norwich will want more than Buendia, and I wouldn't feel £35-40m on Cantwell would be money well spent.
  12. We need to spend it though, no club wants to be paying corporation tax on a huge windfall profit.
  13. Short term: My concern is that we will potentially have a substantially new look midfield and forward line and that won’t necessarily gel over night. Cantwell would help having already forged a relationship with Buendia? Medium/Long term: we should have a very good chance of building a very solid outfit with very good players.
  14. I am still surprised he is training with us though. Surely the whole squad know and his head is completely elsewhere. What’s the point?
  15. Whispers reporting that Jack has medical booked at MC tonight/tomorrow. Also reporting about dealings with Chelsea and Man Utd
  16. It’s different nowadays, that’s what people want. They can always hide behind “anything can happen with transfers” get-out card
  17. Lol, this is a mad conclusion of the current state of play. I think some of us need a rest from this thread, everything rational has been posted which has now given way to the irrational.
  18. Been at work since 8am, jeez I need to start work. (I am actually the boss).
  19. He will be sold with no particular fuss or outcry and thereafter be brilliant. Same with Nakamba. You just watch......
